@1CrownedByGod@TheChristianDem@vickielynne1962@Paula_White@POTUS Again, it’s not the Word of God. You are not the object of Scripture but you put yourself into verses, destroying context.
I don’t need to be rebuked for sharing that you follow a false Gospel. But I can’t soften your heart. So I’ll leave it here. I hope you learn the Gospel
@1CrownedByGod@vickielynne1962@Paula_White@POTUS It’s not about being against prosperity. Wealth is fine. But it’s a false gospel that promises those material things based on faith. A large part of the New Testament church was great in faith but materially poor.
@1CrownedByGod@vickielynne1962@Paula_White@POTUS A prayer for health in 3rd John is not a promise.
Life more abundant is laid out very clearly by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. Abundant life is not defined by finances in any way. That’s a human definition. Not Jesus’.
@1CrownedByGod@vickielynne1962@Paula_White@POTUS You are defining prosperity in human terms, not God’s terms. There are myriad of faithful believers who are poor.
Promises of land and wealth prosperity are old covenant promises to Israel for obedience. They are not the new covenant promises to followers of Jesus.
@Paula_White There were these people Jesus talked about that made sure to pray where everyone could see them…..he didn’t like them. Brood of vipers, he called them.
@TheHonestEvil@rebelyell311@KeenanPeachy Sure. That doesn’t change that a parent is legally responsible for their child and because of that, bears the burden making the best medical decisions they can, including taking the lead on deciding if the child is able choose until the parent is no longer legally responsible
@TheHonestEvil@rebelyell311@KeenanPeachy So at the end of the day, the child does not actually have autonomy. They are still dependent on the doctor in your approach.
@TheHonestEvil@rebelyell311@KeenanPeachy If a child wants to have a treatment and the ability to understand is left up to the doctor, and the doctor refuses the treatment because he deems the child does not understand, does the child have autonomy?
