Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support during these past few days. Your kindness has meant so much to my family and me.
This week, we’re honoring my father’s 72nd birthday by keeping his legacy going through his passion for journalism.
In his memory, our family has started the Larry Fitzgerald Scholarship Fund with the National Association of Black Journalists to support the next generation of journalists.

Mike LaFleur gave a pretty comprehensive update on Arizona's injury situation:
- Fourth-round pick Kaleb Proctor tore his meniscus and could be done for the year but will for sure miss "quite a bit of time."
- Arizona received good news this offseason on CB Garrett Williams, who tore his Achilles in December. LaFleur said the initial timeline he was given for Williams' return was around October or November, but that timeline has been update to a potential return sometime during training camp, barring a set back. He won't be ready when Arizona reports to camp on July 22nd but will have a chance to play Week 1, LaFleur said.
"He's put so much good work in," LaFleur said. "What a special human being that is."
- Arizona's sixth-round pick Karson Sharar did not practice during OTAs because of a hamstring injury but will be ready to go for training camp, LaFleur said.
- And pending any set backs, LaFleur said defensive lineman Walter Nolen, who tore his meniscus in December, is trending to be ready for training camp.
