This is the convoy of Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President of Nigeria, a country where 140 million people are extremely poor. No president or PM in the whole of Europe has this kind convoy. But Remi Tinubu wants @davido, @burnaboy and others to help the poor.
People continue to blame me, saying, 'You are the Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba Land and you refused to do something on the issue of insecurity affecting us', Gani Adams says.
He also noted: "I have written to South West governors that there is a need for collaboration on the issue of security; all hands must be on deck to address this ugly situation, but for the past two years, they did not reply me.

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors should not have to beg for what has already been agreed upon. The Federal Government signed a deal on the Professional Allowance Table, and now it wants to abandon it. This is not governance; it is betrayal.
Our resident doctors are the last line of defence in hospitals that are already collapsing. They work gruelling hours, in impossible conditions, for pay that insults their sacrifice. And now, the government seeks to take away the little that was promised? The Tinubu administration must demonstrate commitment to the issues: 19 months of unpaid Professional Allowance arrears; promotion arrears gathering dust; a Medical Residency Training Fund stuck in bureaucratic limbo; and a government that treats its doctors as an afterthought and remains unconcerned as they flee the country in droves.
Every doctor Nigeria loses to the UK, Canada, or Saudi Arabia is a failure of leadership, not a failure of patriotism. You cannot ask people to serve a nation that refuses to honour its own word.
I stand with NARD. Pay what you owe. Honour what you signed. Or explain to 200 million Nigerians why their hospitals will go dark on Tuesday. -AA
Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has issued an apology to Nigerians for the recent power outages. He assures the public that measures are being implemented to address the situation and promises that there will be noticeable improvements in the electricity supply within the coming weeks.
Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso left ECOWAS because President Bola Tinubu came and mismanaged the relationship, ADC spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi alleges.
What used to be joint collaboration to fight terrorism in the Sahel region became 'all man for himself,' and terrorism prospered, he added.

Wow! What's his name?
Imagine if we had a competent man like this leading the Army? Insurgency wouldn't last more than a week. And you can be certain he won't pack all the money to build houses home and abroad whilst the troops are dying. We need more people like this with power and agency. They will change everything.
I'm shocked that many Nigerians are voluntarily walking into slavery, and, excitedly, embracing servitude. We seem to have forgotten the battle we fought against military dictatorship and those tyrannical leaders, not too long ago. It is befuddling how we can open our eyes wide open and not understand a simple reality, that tyrants only exist for themselves, family and cronies. And whenever they add messiahnic posturing to it, they usually assume the God complex. Nigeria is at that threshold now, and only God can liberate us.
There's no doubt that President Tinubu is not willing to entertain any competition in 2027. He expects full endorsement despite abysmal failures in all ramifications. Budgets, nil. Security, nil. Propaganda, ๐ฏ.
When tomorrow comes, let no one say we were not forewarned. Mine is not a political statement but a humble and visionary message borne out of fervent patriotism.
NIGERIA desperately needs a rescue...
We strongly reject any plan by Defence Minister Christopher Musa to wage war on Fulani bandits. He is now a political office holder, not a battlefield soldier. We demand dialogue and non-violent solutions, not endless warfare. Military confrontation will fail.

PRESIDENT TINUBU ORDERS THE WITHDRAWAL OF POLICE OFFICERS GUARDING VIPS FOR CORE POLICE DUTIES
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the withdrawal of police officers currently providing security for Very Important Persons in the country.
In a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President,
Information and Strategy states that henceforth, police authorities will deploy them to concentrate on their core police duties.
The presidential directive was issued at the security meeting President Tinubu held on Sunday with the police, Air Force, army chiefs and the Director-General of the Department of State Services, DSS, in Abuja.
According to the Presidential directive, VIPs who want police protection will now request well-armed personnel from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
Many parts of Nigeria, especially remote areas, have few policemen at the stations, thus making the task of protecting and defending the people difficult.
In view of the current security challenges facing the country, President Tinubu is desirous of boosting police presence in all communities.
Already, President Tinubu has approved the recruitment of 30,000 additional police officers. The federal government is also collaborating with the states to upgrade police training facilities nationwide.
Sundayโs meeting was attended by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Waidi Shaibu; the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke; the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun; and the Director-General of the Department of State Services, Tosin Adeola Ajayi.
