Today, my aunt, Aleema Khan, has been abducted by police in Lahore. Our family has been told nothing about where she has been taken. Her family and lawyers cannot reach her.

This is the behaviour of a fascist government - abducting people, terrorising families and trampling human rights, due process and the rule of law while pretending to stand for democracy.

First they imprisoned my father. Now they are coming after his family.

We demand immediate access to her for her family and lawyers, full disclosure of where she is being held, and her immediate release.

The world cannot keep looking away from what is happening in Pakistan.

“Instead of going through the formality of introducing a 27th constitutional amendment through a sham parliament, it would be better to openly declare a monarchy, because what exists today is outright dictatorship, forcibly imposed on the country.

The very foundation of Pakistan was laid on La Ilaha Illallah (There is no god except Allah), a declaration that liberates mankind from all forms of slavery. Our country was freed from British rule through immense sacrifices to establish a nation where every citizen would enjoy personal liberties. But the situation is completely the opposite. A mafia seeks to keep the entire nation enslaved. I am willing to endure solitary confinement in a dark prison cell, but I will never accept slavery. And that is my message to everyone: it is better to choose imprisonment than to live in such bondage. What is the value of freedom if, outside these walls, we are not truly free? Iqbal’s Shaheen (eagle) soars high, it does not live in servitude.

I give this call to the entire nation, especially to the workers and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf: Launch a movement after Ashura against the tyrannical system that has gripped this country. For me, death would be better than accepting a system built on slavery.

Every attempt is being made to suppress my voice so that my message does not reach the people and no one dares to stand up against oppression. But I will resist tyranny until my very last breath. I have complete faith in my Creator that this shadow of injustice will soon be lifted from Pakistan.

There are four pillars integral to any democracy: the right to vote, the rule of law, moral integrity, and a free press. The 26th Constitutional Amendment has effectively dismantled all four:

1. The Right to Vote: A dictator has no need for public mandate; he governs through force. The illegitimate assemblies formed via Forms-47, and the subsequent distribution of reserved seats, have only reinforced the perception among the people that their votes hold no value.

2. The Rule of Law: The judiciary has been reduced to a subordinate department of the government. Courts are packed with handpicked judges, while independent judges have been silenced. This is a hallmark of martial law, not democracy.

3. Moral Fabric of Society: This amendment has buried all ethical values. Individuals who are not true representatives of the people now occupy seats in the assemblies. Horse-trading of assembly members continues with impunity, and even the judiciary operates under the thumb of this mafia.

4. Free Media: Under a dictatorship, the media is bound in chains. Freedom of expression has been entirely curbed. Independent journalists are being targeted, while the rest have been bought off.

Peaceful protest is a fundamental democratic and constitutional right. Yet, 26 of our MPAs were suspended for staging a protest in the Punjab Assembly. I commend Ahmad Bhachar and all PTI MPAs who had the courage to challenge these pharaohs. Until our 26 members are reinstated, our elected representatives should hold their own assembly outside. The Form-47-based assemblies do not represent the people, in any case.”

“We have knocked on every door, but no one has listened. I had asked for dialogue only once, and that too was conditional upon commissions to investigate the events of November 26th (2024) and May 9th (2023) being formed. It was Asim Munir who ordered the shooting of unarmed civilians on November 26th. I reiterate there is no longer any room for dialogue because this group has completely hijacked the entire system.

I have instructed Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja, Ali Amin Gandapur, and Junaid Akbar to ensure the protest movement runs with full force. The objective of this movement must be the restoration of justice, the supremacy of law, and the protection of the Constitution. If we fail to raise our voices in the streets, this group of oppressors will gradually finish off our parliamentary party as well. I am standing firm; all of you must also stand firm.

Eighty percent of the people of Pakistan stand with me and we are entitled to fight for our rights. I am aware that 90% of the electoral fraud took place between polling and the compilation of results. I campaigned for the implementation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for two years. If EVMs had been used on February 8th (2024), the game would have ended there and then. I still say today: if transparent elections are desired, EVMs must be introduced, and rigging will end once and for all.”

عقل والے نے کہا لوگوں کے دلوں میں اپنی محبت جگاؤ۔ بادشاہ نے کہا لوگ تو مجھ سے نفرت کرتے ہیں۔
کہا پھر اپنا خوف پھیلاؤ۔ کہا اتنے عرصے سے اسی کی بنیاد پر تو حکومت کررہا ہوں، اب مگر لوگوں نے ڈرنا چھوڑ دیا ہے۔
کہا گر لوگ ڈر نہیں رہے، تو اقتدار کو بھول جاؤ، اپنا سر بچاؤ۔
۲۰۰۹ کے سوات آپریشن کے وقت کراچی سے چند متاثرین آپریشن کو رینجرز نے ناکے پر سے اٹھایا اور انہیں لاپتہ کردیا گیا۔ سپریم کورٹ میں ان کی برآمدگی کی اپیل ہوئی وہاں سے آرڈر بھی جاری ہوا۔ درگئی فورٹ میں ان کی موجودگی کی تصدیق بھی ہوگئی۔ کچھ عرصہ بعد سوات اور دیر کی سرحد پر فوج اور طالبان کی جھڑپ ہوئ، ہلاک ہونے والے افراد لی فہرست میں وہ افراد بھی تھے جو پہلے ہی فوجی تحویل میں تھے، یہاں تک کہ ان کے حوالے سے سپریم کورٹ کا حکم بھی موجود تھا۔ بلوچستان کی سڑکوں پر پڑی مسخ شدہ لاشیں دیکھیں تو اس واقعہ کی یاد آگئی، عمران خان صاحب نے اس وقت کے آرمی چیف کو ان لوگوں کے حوالے سے خط بھی لکھا تھا۔
سالوں کی غلط پالیسیوں کے باعث بلوچستان میں حالات کو اس نہج پر لے آیا گیا ہے کہ روزانہ کی بنیاد پر درجنوں کے حساب سے فوجی جوانوں کے جنازے اٹھ رہے ہیں اور جوابی سٹریٹجی اور مورال بلند رکھنے کے لیے ان قبیح حرکات کا سہارہ لیا جارہا ہے۔ اب نیا پلان یہ ہے کہ پرائیوٹ ملیشیا بنایا جائے گا۔ فوج سڑکوں سے لے کر مائننگ تک کے ٹھیکے لے گی، اور سیکیوریٹی کا کام پرائیوٹ ملیشیا کو سونپ دیا جائیگا۔
خیبر پختونخواہ میں بُھجی ہوئ آگ کو ایندھن برآمد کر کر کے بھڑکایا گیا۔ ہم چیختے رہے، دہائیاں دیتے رہے ہمیں غدار، ملک دشمن، پراپگنڈسٹ قرار دیے دیا۔ اب امن کمیٹیز کے بعد عوام پر مسلح لشکر بنانے پر زور دیا جا رہا ہے۔ کل کو پالیسی بدل جائے گی تو اس لشکر کو فتنتہ ال فلاں نام دے کر ایک اور لشکر کشی کا جواز تراشا جائیگا۔ جیسے کل تک کشمیری مجاہد مُحبِ وطن تھے آج آئین و قانون کے دائرے میں اپنا جائز حق مانگ رہے ہیں تو ہندوستانی ایجنٹ ہیں۔ ان پر ایمپورٹڈ حکومت مسلط کرو انہیں گولیوں سے بھون دو۔
نہروں سے لیکر صوبوں تک کے منصوبوں پر سندھ کی نبض بھی آپ دیکھ چکے ہیں۔ “مرسوں مرسوں سندھ نا دیسوں” کا نعرہ لگانے والا خود مرے گا تو اکیلے تو نہیں مرے گا ناں۔۔
پہلے بھی نہیں مرا تھا۔۔
باقی بچا پنجاب تو گذشتہ چار سال کا جبر ایک جانب اور اس ایک ہفتے کا پاور پلے دوسری جانب۔ کون کون سی بے شرمی کی حدیں نہیں پاٹی گئیں۔ انتظامیہ سے لے کر قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں تک کے (بلاتفریق مرد و زن) افسران کی جانب سے جس درجے کی سفاکیت کا مظاہرہ کیا گیا ہے۔ کھولتے تیل میں گر کر جھلس کر مرنے والے شہید کارکن، بے عزتی کی تاب نہ لا کر دل کا دورہ پڑنے سے جاں بحق ہونے والے شہید عہدیدار، زمیں پر پڑی بزرگ پردہ دار ماں، اپنا ٹوٹا لُٹا پھٹا گھر دکھاتی ہوئی معصوم بچی۔ چہرے پہ کالا کپڑا ڈلا، ہتکھڑیوں میں بندھے ہاتھوں میں اپنی شناختی تختی لیے صحافی، کانپتے حرفوں میں اپنی لُٹی جمع پونجھی کی دہائی دیتا محنت کش مزدور حسنین جس کا جرم دوسرے صوبے سے آئے مہمان وزیراعلی کی مہمان داری کرنا تھا۔ لاہور سے لے کر راولپنڈی کی سڑکوں پر پٹتے نوجوان۔۔ بلوچستان کے لوگوں کے ہاتھوں میں بندوقیں آپ کی نفرت نے تھمائیں۔ پختونخواہ کے لوگوں کو آپ اپنی غلط پالیسی کا کفارہ ادا کرنے کے لیے بندوق اٹھانے پر اکسا رہے ہو۔ کشمیر میں نفرت کی کھیتی بو دی ہے، تو کاٹنی بھی پڑیگی۔ سندھ بھرا بیٹھا ہے۔ کل اسی پنجاب کی ایک ماں کہ جن کے خون کا ایندھن بھر کر جہاز اڑا رہے ہو تاکہ اپنے بچوں کی خوشیاں ہیروں میں لدھ سکو، اسی پنجاب کی ایک ماں نے غربت سے تنگ آکر اپنے بچوں کی گردنوں پر چھری پھیر دی۔ وہ ہاتھ جو پہلے ہی اپنی اولاد کی گردن پا چھری رکھ چکا ہو وہ آپ کی اولاد کی گردن پر ڈلتے کتنا ہی کوئی جھجھکے گا؟ اور آپ کے گریباں سے کتنا ہی عرصہ دور ہوگا؟ سیانے کہہ گئے ہیں جبر کی معیاد پوری ہوجائے تو اپنا سر بچانے کا سوچنا چاہئے کیونکہ اقتدار تو اب بچنا نہیں۔

Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and approximately one thousand others are illegally imprisoned. Over 40,000 have been imprisoned and subsequently released on bail over the past 3 years. Those on bail are facing fake trials across Pakistan.

When judges tried to dispense justice, this illegal government and their masters passed the 26th Amendment. This gave them the freedom to remove or bypass judges who wanted to honour their oath and dispense justice. The amendment did away with seniority. The Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Sarfraz Dogar, was hand-picked. He has been tasked with ensuring that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are not granted bail. That is why he refuses to entertain their bail petitions.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan was also selected out of turn. CJP Yahya Afridi should have stood by the three Supreme Court judges who ordered that Imran Khan be transferred to Shifa International Hospital for an independent medical examination and treatment.

Yesterday, 16 September 2026, we witnessed the collapse of the Supreme Court when those same judges did not proceed with the contempt-of-court hearing against the government. The Attorney General did not even bother to appear for the contempt-of-court hearing!

In 2007, the lawyers brought down the dictator General Musharraf when they came out onto the streets to stand with the judiciary and defend the rule of law. In 2007, dictator Musharraf had removed only the Chief Justice without due process.

In 2026, the entire judicial system has collapsed. In 2007, we all stood with the lawyers for the restoration of the Chief Justice of Pakistan. In 2026, we will stand with the lawyers for the restoration of justice in Pakistan.

Pakistan Insaaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) should take the lead immediately and without delay. The collapse of the judicial system will lead to anarchy, something Pakistan can ill afford! The time to stand for justice, the judiciary, and the rule of law is now!!!

میں براہِ راست عاصم منیر سے سوال کرتا ہوں۔۔

کبھی تم صوبے بنا رہے ہو، کبھی صدر بن رہے ہو، کبھی مارشل لا لگا رہے ہو۔ عاصم منیر، تم ہو کون؟ تم نے پاکستان کو سمجھ کیا رکھا ہے؟ تم ایک عام چوکیدار ہو، تمہاری حیثیت عام شہری سے بھی کم ہے۔ تمہاری زمینیں، تمہارے بنگلے، کھربوں کی جائیدادیں کہاں سے آتی ہیں؟ ہم تمہیں امریکہ کے جرنیل کے برابر تنخواہ دینے کو تیار ہیں، لیکن تم جزیروں سے کم تو بات نہیں کرتے۔

صوبے بننے چاہئیں، لیکن عوام کی مرضی سے، تمہاری مرضی سے نہیں۔ میں قائداعظم کا بمبئی کا محل دیکھ رہا تھا، وہ یہاں زیارت میں پڑا تھا۔ قائداعظم نے وہ محل کیوں بنوایا؟ انہوں نے اپنی بیٹی کو نہیں دیا۔ وہ ایک مصروف ترین وکیل تھے۔ قائداعظم نے ہر چیز اپنی قوم کو دی۔

مشرف صاحب کا بیس پچیس ارب کا محل ہے، جس میں وہ ایک رات بھی نہیں رہ سکا۔ عاصم، تمہارا انجام بہت برا ہوگا، پتہ نہیں ہم ہوں گے یا نہیں۔ عوام اب ہر چیز جان چکی ہے۔ سہیل آفریدی کو کون جانتا تھا؟ اس نے اتنی عوام نکالی ہے۔

قوم عمران کو لیڈر مانتی ہے۔ وہ لاوارث نہیں ہے۔ تم کون ہو قوم کے لیڈر کا علاج روکنے والے؟ تم بتاؤ، آج تم ہو کون؟ تمہارے پاس صرف بندوق ہے۔

میں 70 سال سے سیاسی ورکر ہوں۔ تم میرا کیا کر سکتے ہو؟ مجھے 12 سال کی عمر میں آپ کے ایوب خان نے پہلی دفعہ 1964 میں جیل بھیجا۔ میں نے اسمبلی میں ضیاء الحق کو 1985ء میں کہا تھا:
