Interestingly this isn't just happening in Iran. I know people living in the US who booked surgeries at Reddington (Lagos) and The Bank Hospital (Accra) because it was much quicker and cheaper to spend $4,500 on top level medical care in West Africa than to get a $40,000 insurance co-pay bill in the US.
And even outside of healthcare similar things are happening. I saw 2 videos yesterday of American teachers who left the US and moved to Abuja for better teaching jobs and a better life.
The world is finally shifting and I'm just happy to be alive to witness it.
Tonight, 2 vessels attempting to make an unauthorized passage through Strait of Hormuz were given a “friendly greeting” and forced to turn back!
Dear captains,
Our navy is fully operational and combat-ready. Please do not make decisions based on the words of that American clown!
Him: “Economic D-Day.”
Also him, five seconds later: “[lol] why would I want to blow up the global financial system?”
Sir this ain’t Normandy, this is improv night and you forgot your own script.
#🤡-Day
Bessent says anyone who “helps Iran” will be removed from the US dollar system. This would be the equivalent of scoring an "own goal" and collapsing the dollar as the world's reserve currency. Yalla. Let's do it.
Because Trump failed to achieve his objective in Iran using military force, he has pivoted to using economic sanctions instead. However, Operation Economic Outcast will not only fail, but the economic noose that actually tightens may end up being the one wrapped around our neck.
14 years ago: “Most crippling sanctions in history.” Failed.
8 years ago: “Maximum pressure.” Failed.
5 months ago: “Unconditional surrender.” Failed.
Today: “Most crushing economic operation ever.” Bound to fail.
We have seen this movie before. Same bull. Different bullies.
