Southwest Monsoon has progressed further into the parts of #Punjab, Western #Rajasthan and #Gujarat and covered whole #Maharastra in past 24 hours.

•SW Monsoon has made a impressive onset in #Amritsar last night with the onset spell accumulating 113mm also this was the 2nd century of the station.

•Amritsar has set two new record in the month of June.
1. Station break it rainfall ATR of 92.6mm of 30th June 1970 & sets a new record of 112mm on 15 June 2023

2. New ATR of total monthly rainfall for the month of June. Previous record was 255.3mm (1996). Now the total rainfall for the month of June stands at 277mm
