@RichardBentall Your opening statement in your lecture on psychiatric diagnoses is on point. I totally agree, as does the general medical community. You explain that categorisation holds back progress. But you seem to abandon that logic when it comes to politics. https://t.co/k1XhZMOmqs
@RichardBentall I eventually voted Brexit because only one narrative was being pushed by the government. I’m turning anti-vax because again, only one narrative is being pushed.
You’re a professor of psychology. Surely you understand this?
FYI: I’m triple jabbed
Which of the core values are evident in this article? I’m not an antivaxxer, but I’m saddened by the lack of BOLDness from journalists who prefer taking the gravy train over true journalism.
According to figures I got from the ONS and studies from Oxford university, I calculated your risk of dying from Covid-19 based on two factors:
Unvaccinated: 4x greater
Having a BMI >23: 10 x greater
Of the unvaccinated group, the majority had a BMI >23.
@alexrossiSKY I’m wondering whether you misinterpreted her warning of people being ‘complacent’? A word which can mean, ‘uncritical satisfaction’. Perhaps the sensation you get when when you write articles that fall short of @SkyNews own mission statement?
@WeeBirdDesign @RyanPugh00 @SkyNews How many apparently healthy people die compared to those who are obese? I’ve done the research so I know your response is likely political just like Sky’s narrative on this story. My Nan smoked 20 a day and lived to 101 so should we stop telling people smoking is bad for them?
@SkyNews@alexrossiSKY I want to share this https://t.co/bCmgTZjMQ8 An alternative approach? w/benefits going much deeper than a vaccine that benefits overweight people by a factor of 10. UK has 3rd highest Cov death rate and 4th highest prevalence of obesity.
@SkyNews like the msg from parents of teens that die taking ecstasy. As horrible as a single death is, the vast majority are perfectly ok. As with both MDMA & COVID, there are best practices to avoid tragedy. Many Cov/MDMA deaths are due to negligence/health status.
@IbdocMe I’ve just discovered your blog and I’m interested in something similar (calprotectin testing). I’m keen to investigate cold and heat therapy on inflation in the gut. Is this a therapy you’ve explored yourself against calprotectin levels?
#Mitosis. Here are a few angles of a dividing HeLa cell. Microtubules are white and the chromosomes are orange.

@RichardBentall@Tara61711 It was the lies and overly pessimistic predictions being fed to me by the pro-remain government that swung my vote.
“All change is blind. Because otherwise nothing’s changed”
@RichardBentall@Tara61711 Only time will tell. The past 18 months of being independent from the E.U was shared with a global pandemic. Despite the months long shut down, only 5 E.U counties have lower unemployment.
@RichardBentall@Tara61711 1: Is there concrete evidence these things are exclusively caused by Brexit?
2: How can you be sure Brexit is the cause and not COVID etc?
2: Even if it was clear Brexit would be good for the UK, immediate/short term issues would surely be inevitable?
