We have some sad news to share, that Jennifer English will be stepping away from her role as the English voice of Gwendolyn, the main protagonist in Tides of Annihilation due to personal health reasons. She will continue to support the project in an advisory role.

Earlier in June, Jennifer informed us that she would no longer be able to continue in the role. While we were, of course, saddened by her decision, we completely understood and respected Jennfier in prioritizing her well-being. We are also deeply grateful for the care and responsibility she showed throughout this process.

During this transition, Jennifer remained incredibly supportive and, together with other members of our voice cast, helped us identify and connect with talented performers who could carry Gwendolyn forward while staying true to the character.

With Jennifer's support and recommendation, together with recommendations from other members of our voice cast, we've been fortunate to find an incredibly talented performer to carry Gwendolyn forward. Her recent work in video games left a strong impression on both Jennifer and our team—not only for the performance itself, but for the remarkable care and dedication she showed in understanding the character—and we're excited for players to experience her interpretation of Gwendolyn.

She's currently recording Gwendolyn's English performance for our upcoming gamescom 2026 hands-on demo. Players will hear her performance for the first time in the demo this August, as well as in select official updates shared across our channels during the same period.

We'd also like to thank Jennifer for everything she brought to the character and to the project. Her performance brought depth, strength, vulnerability, and heart to the role. We have truly enjoyed this journey together, and wish Jennifer all the very best, and most importantly, good health and happiness in whatever comes next.❤️

Thoughts after a few hours of playing with Steam Machine.

- 3D performance is just…meh.
- The system recommends to default to 1080p - am I going back to PS4 days?
- Some games take a looooooong time to boot, what is it doing?
- System UI is easy to use.
- Being able to boot up by pressing a button on Steam Controller is a killer feature.
- Changeable face plate is nice.
- Random boot up videos is a nice touch :)
- Sticks on Steam Controller is a bit looser than my taste.
- Having touch pad is nice, but it is very “touchy” and hard to use.
- It allows me to play Steam games on my living room TV, which is a reason enough to keep it.
- But the price was very unfriendly. Hard to recommend to people unless for research.

I mean yeah, that's literally just how business works though. If a taxi company in New York City buys a car, it's probably using it constantly. If you buy a car for normal commuting reasons, it sits for more than half the day. The difference is the taxi company isn't actively scheming to figure out how to convert all car drivers into taxi users while depriving them of supply (although maybe you could say eventually something else of a company like Uber or Waymo or something). It isn't revolutionary that the goal of a business is to have its expensive equipment constantly generating money. It's not unique to GPUs or data centers.

If I buy a paint roller to paint the walls of my house, it's going to sit on a shelf for possibly a decade before I use it again. A painting company will use the paint roller all day. But that doesn't mean we should come up with a new metric, like cost per effective gallon-hour of paint or whatever. It's not that complex. Businesses try to use their GPUs to generate money. Consumers use their GPUs to play video games to have fun and escape our fucked reality.

عند القبض عليه كان فيه اثار خدوش ومقاومة على رقبته وذراعية وبعد تتبع الحقيبة وجدوها ملقاه في غابة صغيرة ووجدوا الضحية بداخلها

انكر في البداية وبعد الضغط اعترف والسبب انهم اتفقا على مبلغ 1000 بات وفي الغرفه اكتشف انها في فترة الدورة الشهرية فطلب تخفيض السعر ل 500 بات وهنا بدأ الخلاف وقال انه دافع عن نفسه
