Every single human inherits their mitochondria exclusively from their mother. Upon fertilization, the egg destroys the sperm’s mitochondria in a total wipeout. Because of this, only your daughter can pass your mitochondrial DNA on to the next generation. When your son has children, his wife’s egg will destroy his mitochondria, ending that line instantly.
Furthermore, to make a son, a father gives his Y chromosome. The Y chromosome is a genetic lightweight, carrying only about 60 to 70 functional genes that mostly just act as a biological switch to trigger male development. There are many things that can be true at once.
1) There are more male geniuses than female geniuses.
2) The son inherits 0 cognitive intelligence from the father.
3) The daughter carries 100% of her father’s intelligence.

There’s another biological factor that you are missing that will prove why there are more male geniuses and why females don’t have extreme intelligence.

A daughter gets one X chromosome from her father and one X from her mother. Her biology then creates a genetic mosaic, randomly choosing which X chromosome to turn off and on across her brain cells. What happens is that she keeps her father’s full intelligence completely intact, but her biology balances it out, actively turning off any extreme, volatile genetic spikes to keep her safe and stable. This process usually smooths out and blocks extreme highs and lows, but the final outcome still depends on how much intelligence her mother contributes. AND this is exactly why women tend to cluster closer together in intelligence, whereas males exhibit a much wider diversity ranging from extreme, outlier genius on one end to severe intellectual disabilities on the other. This is known as the Greater Male Variability Hypothesis.

Okay, but the cool thing is that her grandson will have a 50% chance to pass down her paternal intelligence unabridged.

I am horrified at the answers. If they can be taught the word of God and have a choice in spiritual matters; if they are capable of breathing and living, of experiencing, seeing, feeling, and touching then they all possess equal moral worth. When someone can finally define consciousness, and when someone can truly define God, perhaps then we can come back and debate who matters. Until then, universal dignity is the only baseline.

The year is 1966. Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson is panicking because the U.S. is losing the Vietnam War, and the next in line to be drafted are wealthy college kids. • 40% of these men were shoved directly into front-line combat specialties.
• They died at rates up to THREE TIMES HIGHER than average soldiers because they literally couldn't read the manuals for their equipment or understand complex tactical orders.
• Over 5,400 of them never came home.
• The ones who did return were left with lower incomes, higher divorce rates, and worse trauma.

The Y chromosome does not determine who a man is. It doesn't code for abstract thought, structural logic, artistic talent, or temperament. It is literally just a genetic on/off switch for maleness and fertility. The primary job of the Y chromosome is a single gene called SRY (Sex-determining Region Y). It is essentially a biological alarm clock that wakes up at around week 7 of gestation to tell the embryo to start producing testosterone and develop male anatomy. And mind you, it is just the switch, not the actual machinery for hormone production or the receptors. It just turns it on. Almost all of the remaining functional genes on the Y chromosome (like the AZF gene regions) are strictly dedicated to spermatogenesis, which is making sperm so the cycle can repeat. That is true, paternity tests do not test sex chromosomes (X, Y), instead they look at autosomal DNA. A daughter inherits exactly 50% of her autosomal DNA from her mother and 50% from her father. Autosomal DNA gives the physical traits, organs, features, health. The X chromosome will give the brain architecture, cognition, and sex determination.
