IEBC Vice President Ken Sherwood spoke to an excited crowd at the California Community College Staff Development conference recently about Caring Campus’ work to transform campus culture and its partnership with the California Community College Classified Senate.
The @WeAreHCCS Caring Campus Joint Session included a tremendous turnout by the senior leadership. Participation in the small groups reflected the high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout the session and anticipated for the working group meetings that will begin this month.

IEBC Caring Campus Coach Loredana Carson, @MoorparkCollege’s recent Joint Session set out the Working Group meetings and implementation of their plan for rolling out Caring Campus with President Julius Sokenu, leadership, and staff.
The @NLCPR professional staff are working together to implement and institutionalize Caring Campus, building on a culture of caring already underway and spearheaded by President Garcia, who is a terrific advocate and supporter.
Dr. Brad Phillips enjoyed the impressive @AlamoColleges1 Employee Development Day where his keynote speech on “Creating Caring Campuses” addressed how District employees can engage in behaviors to exhibit a sense of care. IEBC President Phillips said it was a terrific turnout.
@Cuesta_College recently experienced their first IEBC Caring Campus coaching session, which brought together a variety of offices and departments from across the college. Their productive tabletop conversations revealed some valuable insights for embracing Caring Campus work.
