Sorry for my grief. But, to be honest, I don't feel like this game is enjoyable anymore.

What I loved most was deciphering all the hidden letters, numbers, and subtle clues the developers tucked into every corner of the game. The lore hidden here and there are so great and full of life. It was a world where even the smallest detail carried meaning, and everything eventually connected into a much larger picture.

That was what made Love and Deepspace so fascinating to me. It had creative freedom. It had soul. It had always been fighting with all form of prejudice.

Now, I feel like that spirit is gone.

It painful to look at this PV and see all of the alphabet even censored. The MC face has been more censored. The story has been reduced to 5 people when it was clearly meant to be 6. Honestly, it feels like watching a dear friend being unjustly killed, and with Valko disappeared the final piece that was supposed to complete this universe is all gone with him too.

Now it feels like looking at a familiar face that somehow belongs to a stranger. Nothing seems different on the surface, yet everything feels different inside.

I don't hate any of the existing LIs. I still love every one of them, including Valko. And I still love the Love and Deepspace universe. But I just can't bring myself to continue if this is the direction it's heading.

You know what? I've always known how incredibly hard the development and production teams worked to push the boundaries of creativity in the Chinese gaming industry. They challenged so many conventions of the otome genre because they wanted to create something bigger, something where creative freedom could grow and thrive. To me, Valko represented one of the highest points of that vision.

As someone who has also worked in a creative field, this genuinely breaks my heart. It's incredibly difficult to challenge an established system in order to create something new.

So to everyone on the development team, thank you. I love you guys very very much.

For the past two and a half years, you've poured your hearts into building a universe that inspired me to explore history, mythology, science, architecture, languages, and art in ways I never expected. Thank you for daring to dream bigger.

Now, I don't think things can ever return to what they were. This universe is not what I wanted to follow without the 6 of them together.

No matter what happens next, I'm truly grateful our paths once crossed.

You know, I decided to leave the game when Valko was cancelled. But I still haven’t moved on from what I see as the injustice he endured leading up to that decision.

I guess I may love this universe and always cheer on the production team and the story it was trying to tell after all.

But now I look around, and then seeing his CN fans working tirelessly to clear his name. Overseas players are doing the same in their own ways by speaking up, organizing charity projects, hosting offline events. All of it happened organically and sincerely. Tons of people are expressing their love and support for Valko.

Meanwhile, the company, the very people I hoped would stand up for him seemed absent and even turn against him? 🤷🏻‍♀️

What a heartbreaking mess.
I have trust issue with anything from Infold now. ☹️
