I watched a clip of a dad who had four daughters; he said they’d all married good men. He also noted that at each of their weddings he pulled the husbands aside and said, “If you ever hurt her, they won’t find your body.”

It’s become clearer to me that abusive men seek out women with fathers that are checked out, passive, immature, and pose no threat to their safety should they harm the woman.

Weak, passive, absent/negligent, cowardly fathers increase their daughter’s vulnerability tenfold.
