People laugh at the UK losing it at 25° when we frequently go above 40°, but I vividly remember being in Liverpool (England) 17 years ago (!!!) when it was “only” 27° but I thought I was gonna die from heat stroke. Where I live in Aus is quite dry so the humidity took me out 🥵🥴

I’m not aware of an official UK dew point record, but the Euro model is forecasting dew points near 25°C (77°F) in England Wednesday evening.

Ireland and Scotland could see similar dew points Thursday.

This is summer humidity typical of Florida or the Persian Gulf.

These unusually high dew points will make the nighttime heat even more brutal and potentially deadly for vulnerable populations and households without AC, which is most of the United Kingdom.

So my friends and I are poor communicators and we’ve accidentally ended up with 4x extra seats for the Sunday BTS Sydney Show 🤦🏻‍♀️ Have set up to sell on Tixel at face value + sell fee, but the tickets aren’t released until 48 hours before the show (I also don’t get paid til after)

@btsohteeseven It’s $21 to watch it at Hoyts on the big screen, but $60 to watch it at home. 🤦🏻‍♀️ think Hoyts buy licenses on a per cinema basis. I was in Korea when the Japan Arirang concert was on and it was gonna cost me $70 AUD to watch it at the cinema, assuming cos Korean license per person
