The ego constantly wants to defend its perceived status.
It never wants to give others the last word.
It feels entitled to others agreeing with its opinions and threatened when they don’t.
It feels entitled to others appreciating its body of work and wounded when they don’t.
The ego is fascinating, but it’s not something we should be slaves to.
I’ve come to believe it’s imperative to understand the ego, because a lot of this happens unconsciously.

We wait.
It used to be a matter of shame for any PM to be criticised by human rights or humanitarian charities as being complicit with war crimes - but you have to be devoid of all morality to be told by Save the Children that your statements are basically a joke 👇🏾👇🏾
@johncusack Oh God. They’d rather have their constituents think they’re imbeciles than to own up and answer that question honestly.
It’s obvious red lines no longer exist. How do they carry on with straight faces swimming in a swamp full of lies decades old, while we see this everyday?
After the Israeli Forces killed the 15 Red Crescent medical workers in Gaza, the IDF dug shallow graves, buried their victims, then lied - repeatedly - about what happened.
Deliberately killing medical workers is a war crime.
The recent U.S. government reports on UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) have been intriguing, but still feel inconclusive. They acknowledge encounters with objects displaying flight capabilities beyond known human technology, yet stop short of confirming extraterrestrial orig.
