Long old drive Thursday, but fantastic to watch @YasserGk1 and the @DurhamCestria team come back to win the Durham Challenge cup! Great performance and character to come back from 2-0 down to win 3-2! 👏🏻👏🏻🏆🏆
Great to hear @YasserGk1 won @DurhamCestria Fans ‘save of the season’ for this great save earlier in the year, during the end of year awards after last league Sunday! Well done kiddo 🧤🧤⭐️⭐️
@Jason9888681301@megan_feringa@TheAthleticFC Also the 21s should be a 21s league not an U18/17s league… that’s one of the big issues tbh, the sport is missing an age group should scrap the 21s and change it to U19s and U23s
@Jason9888681301@megan_feringa@TheAthleticFC Yeah I tend to agree however the PGA sides offer professional training facilities and schedules offer the ability to train with WSL and WSL2 teams where as a lot of T3/T4 teams still train twice a week… so it’s really a balance to find the right fit…
Some clips from Yas v Chelsea PGA Wed… Not the result they wanted but developing all the time Yas, Great reaction save to start and been working hard on taking her crosses cleanly 💪🏻🧤🧤
@megan_feringa@TheAthleticFC The 19-22 age group is becoming a very difficult phase for girls to manage… being asked to do a lot for not very much at all… often balancing studies and trying to earn some money and have a life… there’s currently a massive gap in the women’s pathway for this age group
