I lived in India for a year and it is SO MUCH HARDER to be fit–
- Gyms are expensive / inaccessible
- Harder to walk / run on streets + lower quality air
- Difficult to find healthy food
- Few social options without food+drinks
Most high-income Indians aren't very fit.
When we begin to be contextually mindful, errors of communication, assumption and perception will automatically reduce, allowing us to enjoy a certain degree of peace simply by being.
Started steaming dinner for three. Soy soaked fish and mushrooms in each plate, plus a topping of fried beans, onions and garlic, nori shreds and sliced, pickled Japanese radish.

Ramen noodle (Shin Ramyun) bowls topped with fried pork belly, stir fried shiitake and baby corn, eggs, mint leaves, coriander leaves and basil buds.
Cooked after ages.
I've watched as recipes have been getting dumbed down in language as well as ingredients, with the latter increasingly tilted towards processed goods. Big food is influencing our spending via corrupted recipes.
Assembling 3 cans, 2 packets and a couple of sachets is not cooking.
Destiny/fate appears to be about the journey, rather than the destination.
The journey gives opportunities upon which we exercise free will. Our fated destination depends on our decisions.

EMO isn't necessarily true - offset by EXP and EDU.
EXP is a small subset of actual reality - offset by EDU, influenced by EMO.
EDU is theory without practical exposure - offset by EXP and influenced by EMO.
In its natural state, instinct doesn't appear to wait for reason, reason seems too slow to curb instinct, though the presence of reason may mitigate instinctive reactions.

Negative spirals need an immersive distraction to be broken, else we end up completely entangled.
Whenever you realise you're spiralling downward, call a friend, start sketching, cooking, colouring... Anything that involves and engages you deeply.
Metformin and rapamycin are two leading candidates to fight aging and extend healthy lifespan.
Both are generic and cheap though so don't expect a huge push for them.

One of my commitments is to promote human values based on common sense and scientific findings. What we need is more self-confidence, which comes from concern for others' well-being. The real source of inner strength and self-confidence is warm-heartedness.
