The minute I saw the boy tremble I got flashbacks of both my then 4yr and 6yr olds. Couldn't bare to watch this cos the memory flashed as if the wound is raw.

When acts of aggression begin with the targeting and destruction of masajid—a sacred symbols of Islam—it reveals a deep-rooted hostility toward the faith itself. Allah says:
"Those who disbelieve are allies of one another! If you (Muslims) do not do the same (become allies of one another), there will be fitnah (trial, oppression, shirk) and great fasad (corruption) in the land." (8:73)

This verse is unique in that nowhere else in the Qur’an are fitnah and fasad paired together, combined with fasad described as “great”—a warning that violating the banner of iman and its strongest bond, wala’ and bara’, leads to serious consequences.

Wherever Muslims are oppressed or under attack, our duty is simple and clear: to stand with them, unwaveringly.
