I am writing to request immediate escalation regarding an unjustified warranty claim denial and an additional warranty issue on my Tesla Model 3 Performance (VIN: LRW3E7EL8NC603078).
1. Front right wheel bearing
I recently brought the vehicle to Tesla Service Timișoara due to a loud rumbling noise from the front right wheel. The official diagnosis confirmed it was the front right wheel bearing. The car is still well within the manufacturer’s warranty.
Tesla Service refused to cover the repair under warranty, claiming the issue stems from “previous damage on the right side”. I have attached a screenshot from the Tesla App showing this denial in Romanian.
The previous bodywork was performed at AUTO XPERT, a Tesla-approved and accredited body shop to which I was directly referred by Tesla. After leaving AUTO XPERT the vehicle has covered only 2,000 km. When I asked AUTO XPERT for a written statement they refused to provide any document.
Since I was referred by Tesla to one of its own accredited partners, any issues arising from that repair are an internal matter within Tesla’s network and should not result in the denial of my manufacturer warranty.
2. Peeling white rear bench seat
In addition, the white rear bench seat (vegan leather) has started to peel and exfoliate. This is a clear manufacturing or material defect that appeared under normal use. I request that the rear bench seat be replaced under warranty as well.
All repairs and maintenance have been carried out exclusively through official Tesla Service Centers or Tesla-accredited partners. I have zero personal fault in either matter.
Tesla can verify the complete service history directly via the VIN in your internal system.
As a loyal Tesla owner with three vehicles (two Model 3 and one Model Y), I am disappointed with the handling of my warranty claims and expect the same high level of service and support that Tesla is known for worldwide.
This situation is completely unacceptable for vehicles still under full manufacturer warranty. I kindly request your urgent intervention and escalation so that both the front right wheel bearing and the white rear bench seat are replaced under warranty without any further delay or cost to me.
