Had an excellent discussion with Prof. Antoine Petit @antoine_petit_, Chairman and CEO of the National Centre for Scientific Research @CNRS, France. @IndiaDST and @CNRS have a strong and steadily growing partnership.

We explored avenues for collaboration in cutting-edge research, particularly in advanced materials, and on shaping a strategic roadmap for the future. These engagements gain special significance as we move towards 2026, the Indo-French Year of Innovation, opening new avenues for impactful bilateral scientific cooperation.

Delighted to share that Dr Sourav Banerjee of BRIC-NBRC has been funded by CEFIPRA, a Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research, to study the neurodevelopmental deficits of Autism Spectrum Disorder caused by long non-coding RNA - Fragile-X-Metal Retardation Protein interaction.
