→ Higher yields increase the cost of financing U.S. government borrowing

→ Rising borrowing costs put pressure on stocks, real estate, crypto, and virtually every other asset.

→ The Iran crisis drives energy prices higher, adding another layer of inflationary pressure

→ Persistent inflation pushes Treasury yields even higher

This is how a geopolitical crisis transforms into a bond-market crisis.

And the consequences do NOT stop there.

The Strait of Hormuz is a critical artery for global energy supplies.

When energy markets are disrupted, inflation comes under pressure.

When inflation rises, Treasury yields face further upward pressure.

And when the Treasury market sells off, the shock spreads into EVERY major asset class.

Oil, bonds, stocks, crypto, and geopolitics are no longer isolated forces.

They are interconnected parts of the same financial system.
