We wish her luck with her studies!🇮🇪
Last month, we had the privilege of taking part in a WWI tour around Ypres. Piet Chielens & Annick Vandenbilcke who work in the In Flanders Fields Museum have dedicated their careers to ensure the history of Ypres & those who lost their lives there will not be forgotten.🕊

https://t.co/hEMJw7TszX Our last full day. Visiting the @IFFmuseum in #Ypres was profoundly moving and I can highly recommend a visit to anyone interested in #WWI#history. It brought the stories of soldiers on all sides to life. Also loved the #Welsh memorial ❤️🏴 #authorlife
Can you help reunite an original First World War letter with its owner?
Britt-Marie Beard from Taddington found an original
letter in Tyne Cot cemetery on 11 July. Having found no
possible owner, she brought it to the desk at the
In Flanders Fields Museum. (1/5)
So someone who lost the letter probably visited Tyne
Cot Cemetery as part of their journey.
It would be wonderful if the owner of the letter could be traced! If you think you can help, please spread the word of this information. (4/5)
A new map shows all the military cemeteries of the First World War in the West-Flanders area. All existing cemeteries are marked, as well as 530 exhumed and cleared sites.
