The IFL officially kicks off its 15th season this Friday when the Arizona Rattlers visit the Quad City Steamwheelers. Just last week, both teams entered camp and are working to make cuts from over 70 players down to their 25-man roster.

@cfl_reddit Not to my knowledge. Several of the teams in the IFL switched leagues from AFL 2.0 (Barnstormers & Blizzard the most notable ones). I wouldn't necessarily discount the possibility of a merger in the future, but I'm not sure what the new AFL brings to the table to interest the IFL
