iFM VISTA Volunteer talks to community members at Intrada, a mixed generation housing community, about health and services provided by iFM. Residents 18-24 were happy to receive info on iFM's free drop-in clinic at 7500 Natural Bridge Rd.
iFM Family Nurse Practitioner and yoga instructor Marta Gray provided insight on how yoga is more than twisting into pretzel like shapes. With the help of Complete Harmony STL we have brought trauma informed yoga to a variety of our partner sites.
Last week iFM hosted a continuing education event for our staff led by NCADA to learn about opioid addition and how to incorporate awareness of this issue into our practices.
This week at Epworth Drop In Center, teens got to participate in trauma informed yoga led by Complete Harmony STL. After yoga, the participants practiced music and art as acts of mindfulness.
