Just think about for a minute how badly the Oilers management team have been since McDavid was gifted to them.

This Nurse contract makes it very difficult to move him.

If there is a shred of competence left within this management team--which is grasping at straws--they MUST trade Nurse to LA. His mistake ridden play will bold well for EDM.

There are 5 players in LA who would be great fits in EDM

The worst decision the organization made during this horrendous off season was not firing STAN.

Chris MacFarland left COL. This is the guy a well run organization would have targeted and hired to replace the shit show in EDM.

I’ll say this — oilers are very soft and have been taught to walk away from scrums—to allow their top player to be the hunted.

The biggest of culprits of all the Oilers who need a kick in the ass is DRAI and Nuge.

Mitch Marner is bringing back visions of Gretzky in this post season. Very similar back hand goal from the boards banks off the CAR defender. You could almost throw a 99 on the back of Marners jersey right now

The solution that would solve ALL of the Oilers problems:

Trade Nuge and Nurse to TO for Nylander.

If Oilers had a competent manager he e would be able to pull this off with relative ease. Add a sweetener or 2 if needed.

I'll keep saying it until the media understand what has been occurring with EDM star players:

Oilers are soft. It is v well known around the league.

Oil should be the meanest team in the NHL. Theres no fear of paying a price.
