You’ve probably heard it a million times: “Post your work. Stay consistent.”
But here is the key. Do not just post to impress other designers. Post in a way that shows clients how you can solve their problems.
So instead of dropping a shiny UI shot, ask yourself:
Does this show a problem I solved?
Can a recruiter see the value I’d bring to their team?
That’s how you turn posts into opportunities.
And if you’re already doing that, here’s what else you can do
1.Reach out directly. Do not sit and hope to be discovered. A short, thoughtful DM to a recruiter or hiring manager can do more than three months of silent posting.
2.Collaborate in public. Join a design challenge, an open-source project, or a hackathon. Not only do you sharpen your skills, but these projects live online and get shared. They travel further than a single LinkedIn post.
3.Share the story, not just the screenshot. Do not just post final designs with no context. Walk people through your thinking, the messy drafts, and the problem you cracked. That is what makes recruiters stop scrolling.
At the end of the day, consistency is still the backbone. But consistency with strategy is what makes recruiters start saving your name, bookmarking your work, and thinking of you when roles open.
So do not just show up. Show up intentionally.
And make it impossible for the right people to scroll past you.
You can look back and thank God for where He brought you from, and still ask Him to take you higher.
You can honour your past without limiting your future
You are allowed to want more.
Just in case you need to hear it again:
You are not greedy. You are growing.

@trib_ol IMO, If they are people that show up for you as they should while going through whatever they are also going through, and you're not doing same or at least communicating why you currently cannot do same, it's just plain wickedness sha oo.
