if you feel it, too

for the feelings you never knew how to put into words. ♡

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

sometimes healing looks like no longer needing the person who hurt you to understand why you hurt

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

there is a strange grief in realizing you became everything you once needed for yourself because nobody else stayed long enough to become it

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

sometimes i disappear because i am tired of being perceived but never truly understood

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

you can be over someone and still mourn who you were when you loved them

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

i wonder if they ever think about the person i was before they gave me a reason to become so guarded

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

i forgive people quietly because sometimes they do not deserve another conversation with the version of me they hurt

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

there are friendships you grieve just as deeply as relationships

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

the worst kind of loneliness is feeling alone beside someone who promised you would never have to be

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

sometimes you do not want them back you just want proof that what you felt was real to them too

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

sometimes the person you want closure from is the same person who taught you that closure has to come from within

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

i wonder how many times we called it love when it was really just fear of being alone

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

you can love someone deeply and still eventually choose yourself

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

sometimes i miss people i would never let back into my life

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

sometimes i wonder if the hardest part of losing someone was never losing them at all but realizing that the version of them i loved only existed in the places where i was willing to understand them more than they were willing to understand me

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

i think we’re all carrying things we haven’t figured out how to put into words yet

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

some people only know how to function when something is wrong. peace can actually feel uncomfortable when you’re not used to it.

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

sometimes the hardest person to forgive is yourself.

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

you can outgrow a life that you once prayed for.

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

growing up is realizing nobody really knows what they’re doing. we’re all just making decisions and hoping they work out

[if you feel it, too @ifyoufeelittoo]

i don’t think people understand how much you can be hurting while still showing up like everything is normal
