i remember when i couldn’t afford the lifestyle i wanted yet.

every friday evening, i’d walk into a high end hotel lobby, order one coffee, sit in the same corner and open my laptop like i belonged there. nobody knew i was going back to a small brokie apartment after 😂 all they saw was someone comfortable in that environment. week after week, something changed.

i stopped feeling like an outsider. i studied how people spoke, how they carried themselves, how deals were discussed and how confidence looked in real life.

one night, a man approached me cos he assumed i was a regular. that conversation opened a door to an opportunity i wasn’t qualified for on paper but i carried myself like i was. do you know that months later, my reality caught up with that environment i had been exposing myself to. nothing magical happened. i simply stopped seeing that world as theirs and started seeing it as a place i belonged too

i will repeat this again;

if you spend all day at a fish market, you’ll leave smelling like fish even if you never touched one but spend your day in a perfume shop and you’ll carry the scent even if you didn’t buy anything, that’s how environment works. it rubs off, whether you realize it or not. the scent of your environment will always follow you.

wealth starts with familiarity before it starts with money. your mind has to accept a reality before ur life can build it. learn something, buena suerte.

Anyways, I didn’t stop her from working but that Christmas, I restricted the money I gave her to the job she did for me. I could feel her anger as she left and I didn’t give her any food despite the food contribution I carried in December.

Unlike her, she didn’t call me to ask me when she’ll come and work through out the month of January and February and me I didn’t bother calling her.

Last week she called and asked me when she will come and work but I think I’ve moved on, so I told her I don’t have any chores pending. Today a mutual called me to say Aunty Ngozi is begging to resume work, I told her I wasn’t the one who asked her to stop but I think I’m better off without her.

I don’t know if I’m right or overreacting.

I helped 7 school teachers change their monthly income from N40k to N500k monthly by putting them on this side hustle a lot of people have been ignoring;

Last year, I had about 7 different school teachers reach out to me about how low their salary was and how they couldn't meet their family needs.

They were earning within N40k–N60k monthly at the time.
I told them they could increase their income to at least N200k monthly just by helping international companies answer questions, but I needed assurance that they were going to be serious and consistent before I put them on for free, which they assured me they would be.

Today, they've been consistently earning nothing less than N500k monthly, and I can't be prouder.

I'm opening another opportunity to mentor 50 serious people for free who currently have a monthly income below N50k. The only requirement is that you are going to be serious and consistent.
