SC Nelson Havi says President Ruto forming an Ebola Response Committee only after the U.S. committed KSh 1.7 billion funding is “an impeachable offence” and “treason against the People of Kenya.”
When Ruto took office, TVET courses cost around Ksh 32,000.
Under the new funding model, the cost was pushed up to around Ksh 105,000. After public complaints, the government adjusted the fees and brought what students pay down to about Ksh 67,000.
So the government cannot claim it has reduced fees when students are still paying more than they did before he became president.
