These people who call themselves “mog” leading people in idolatry make comical statements. These must be the ones he encounters in his visions.
The same Nigeria army that have at least 105 general officers and are struggling against terrorists and bandits?
The same Nigeria police force that excels at escort duties and is severely limited at policing?
@AfricanHub_ And if it is true, there is absolutely nothing wrong in that. He is American and has no obligation other than to himself and his nation.
Just like there is absolutely nothing wrong with any African nation leader having never been to the 🇺🇸
@osazenoo He missed the point.
Not advocating for @officialABAT to remain president for the next 40 years, which would be absurd.
Policy implementation, execution and the resulting transformation take sustained effort, especially coming from a deep deficit.
Every one of the countries being listed as examples for 🇳🇬 succeeded for two primary reasons,
1.) there was a vision and a plurality of the people were rallied to it.
2.) Consistency/continuity (as you @BlehisBack say, “consistency over convenience”)
Consistency requires sacrifice and bottom to top, Nigerians for the most part are opposed to the concept of voluntary sacrifice.
@JeffreyGuterman Of course Nigeria can and will reform itself.
That reform will not be led by any one of the gladiators now seeking elective office. None of them is worthy of 🇳🇬
In November 2025, 105 officers of the Nigeria Army were promoted to General officer rank (77 Colonels to Brigadier General, + 28 Brigadier Generals to Major Generals)
🇳🇬 is not in a declared state of war, or in conventional military operations, how then can this number of general officers not be able to rise to the “enormous challenges” - what are they doing?
The problem of Nigeria is not in Aso Rock or the National Assembly or the 36 state government houses or the 36 state houses of assembly.
The problem of Nigeria can be seen every time a plurality of 200+ million Nigerians look in the mirror.
The solution to Nigeria’s problems is not you, nor is it any one of the gladiators now seeking elective office. It is squarely in the hands of that plurality, when they decide they can and should be worthy of 🇳🇬
There was a time the national anthem was “Arise o compatriots, Nigeria’s call obey…” What does 🇳🇬 call her people to? To gluttony? To the worship of mortals masquerading as “mog”? To entertainment?
@instablog9ja not a surprising comment for an usher in winners chapel, who left governance to go serve at Shiloh for one week and people thought it was a good thing.
“…deeply disturbed…”? No, you are not! Neither are 99.9% of 200+ million Nigerians.
🇳🇬 is not yet ready to break free from the chains of insecurity. When she is, Nigerians know what to do.
The dignity and sanctity of every human life will be protected, in Nigeria, when a plurality of Nigerians accept and believe that 🇳🇬 is and will be what Nigerians make of it and every Nigerian has a part to play.
🇳🇬 did not suddenly get to this point, step by step, day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year, through wanton indolence, inordinate greed and gluttony, Nigerians are now at this point.
As the country stumbles its way towards the 2027 elections, the fight between the gladiators, all of whom are unworthy of 🇳🇬, may be the catalyst that will break the fever.
