Welcome to the Kakistocratic government and Republic of Nigeria.
@SenRemiTinubu message appears to come from a micro-enterprise philosophy where people should not wait endlessly for government jobs. The belief that small businesses can provide immediate income, grants can help citizens become self-employed, and every honest business deserves dignity.
In that sense, there is nothing wrong with frying akara, roasting corn, selling kuli-kuli, farming, trading, tailoring or starting from whatever one has. Across developing economies, small businesses feed families, create income and help people survive where formal jobs are scarce. This is a common approach in poverty-alleviation programmes across many developing countries.
But the anger is not really about akara or kuli-kuli or corn. Madam, the backlash is about context, expectation and national vision. Nigeria is blessed with crude oil, natural gas, limestone, iron ore, coal, gold, lithium, fertile agricultural land, a huge consumer market and a massive youthful workforce.
So when national leaders speak mainly about roadside survival businesses while unemployment, inflation and the cost of living remain severe, the painful question many citizens hear iis, is this the highest economic ambition for a nation with such enormous potential?
The deeper issue is where the nation’s wealth is being created. A serious economy does not merely export raw resources and import finished products.
It refines, processes and manufactures.
Crude oil should become petrol, diesel and petrochemicals at home. Agricultural produce should become finished food products and minerals should be refined before export and gas should power industries.
Each stage creates factories, engineers, technicians, logistics jobs, maintenance work, research, quality control, finance, taxes, export earnings and millions of dignified livelihoods.
Government’s responsibility is not only to tell citizens to hustle. It must build the conditions that make prosperity possible - reliable electricity, gas infrastructure, renewable energy, roads, rail, industrial parks, storage facilities, food-processing centres, stable policies, access to finance, education, healthcare, rule of law and strategic industries.
A healthy economy needs both vibrant small businesses and large industries employing thousands!
But when the national conversation focuses more on survival-level entrepreneurship than on industrialisation, manufacturing, technology, power generation and skilled employment, people begin to feel that the country’s future is being reduced to poverty management - which is what it is anyway.
A 'conscious' nation does not despise the woman frying akara, the farmer, the welder, the trader, the tailor or the young person starting small. Their labour deserves honour.
But conscious leadership must ask a deeper question - Are we preparing citizens merely to survive, or are we building a nation where they can flourish? A resource-rich country should not force its brightest minds to choose between unemployment and roadside survival. Its natural resources should fuel industries, its industries should create dignified employment, and its economy should make enterprise a path of opportunity, not a desperate escape from hardship.
Encouraging entrepreneurship is good. But building an economy where people can rise, refine, manufacture, innovate and prosper is better. The highest duty of leadership is not to teach citizens how to manage poverty, it is to create the conditions for widespread prosperity.

Following the financial backing Sowore received from Siblings of iniquity and ambulance lawyers to embarrass himself in Abia state via a poorly executed paid protest, he has continuously turned to publishing nonsensical claims about #IPOB and its leadership.
And now it's time to ensure he receives a share of the #IPOB media attention. We will inform him that the compensation he receives for publishing nonsense against IPOB and its leadership will help him realize it's not worth engaging in the #IPOB and Biafra struggle matters.

The ESN was setup to confront the marauding Fulani militia or jihadists. The ESN is our last line of defense.
The comrades in ESN have sacrificed everything as many of them abandoned their personal comfort including families to serve our land.
These men are the only ones that will defend our land without playing politics with it. We are therefore asking our people especially our entrepreneurs to support the ESN.
The support is needed so that when what the Fulani is planning is finally unveiled, there will be enough men on ground with the necessary resources. The ESN cannot operate without support from our people. So that you do not begin to say, where is ESN?, when you refuse to support and their meagre resources are exhausted.
Give ESN all the support so that the 50 thousand reserve can easily be activated. There are 100s of thousands but 50 thousand is on standby and will easily be assembled for as long as the resources are there from our entrepreneurs.

Simon Ekpa’s Atrocities Were Responsible for Nnamdi Kanu’s Sentencing — Maxwell Opara
In the wake of Nnamdi Kanu’s controversial life imprisonment sentence for terrorism-related charges in November 2025, one of his legal consultants, Dr. Maxwell Opara, has pointed to the actions of Simon Ekpa as a significant factor that contributed to the severity of the judgment. Opara, a human rights lawyer and member of Kanu’s legal team, argued that the violence and incitement linked to Ekpa’s faction created a climate that influenced the court’s harsh stance against the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader.
Opara has been vocal in interviews and public statements following Kanu’s conviction. While defending Kanu as a victim of injustice, highlighting issues like the 2017 raid on his home, the death of his parents, and extraordinary rendition, he has drawn a clear distinction between IPOB’s approach and Ekpa’s more militant methods. Opara reportedly suggested that Ekpa’s “atrocities” and the associated violence provided ammunition for prosecutors and the court to paint the broader Biafra movement with a terrorist brush, thereby influencing the outcome for Kanu.
In one Arise News appearance, Opara emphasized the need for peace and urged South-Easterners not to take the law into their own hands, while criticizing the judgment as driven by “anger.” He has also referenced how IPOB distanced itself from Ekpa’s faction, condemning the violence attributed to it.

Me - The same cattle they are using under the Fulani herdsmen as camouflage in carrying out jihad and terrorism against our people . The same pattern.

One of the most dangerous moves any freedom-fighting leader can make in life is throwing away his or her leverage in a struggle, that will automatically shifts the power dynamic in favor of the opponent.
As soon as he makes that mistake, he immediately loses the ability to dictate terms, walk away, or compel concessions, turning a strategic negotiation or conflict into a desperate situation where he is forced to accept unfavorable terms .
In any negotiating situation or struggle, the person who cannot walk away when trapped in the hands of enemies pays the highest price. Without leverage, he loses the ability to end the conflict on his or her own terms, often leaving him stuck in a vulnerable or exploitative arrangement or situation.
When in the hands of the enemies, the leader will be in a desperate situation, which is normal. Desperate individuals accept terms that their enemies have prepared, which they would quickly reject if they maintained their leverage. When leverage is gone, your posture and confidence sink, which your enemies will quickly use to their advantage. Sometimes, stepping back, dropping your ego, your arrogance, and pausing is the strongest leverage one can use in playing smart in any negotiation.

IPOB Cote d'Ivoire Chapter Rejects Purported Dissolution of DOS, Pledges Full Support for Leadership of Mazi Chikadibia Edoziem https://t.co/WdWPvW7by7
In every organization, the institution is the ultimate authority. No matter how powerful an individual may be, he or she remains subject to the pronouncement of that authority.
In Igbo culture, this is similar to the Umunna. Once the Umunna stamps its decision on a matter, no matter your status or influence in society, the verdict stands.
The world has taken note of the decision of IPOB directorate of state. That is the difference between individual authority and institution’s authority.
Two things happened yesterday, Nnamdi Kanu made a pronouncement and DOS made pronouncement . But world care more about the pronouncement of an DOS more than individual .
That is why Institution is the world legalized authority of every society . When they speak the world listened .
Biafrans and IPOB Worldwide, be courageous in the face of these challenges .
This is a struggle for freedom ; it's never going to be easy. In due time, millions of Biafrans will understand that DOS 's decision to suspend the office of the leader is to protect lives, preserve the movement, and, above all, to make sure we never derail from the pursuit of Biafra's freedom.
