Spring is an ideal time to inspect how each sprinkler is operating to catch issues that you might otherwise miss when the irrigation season really gets going π
Heavier than normal topdressing on approaches with a decent shot of rain expected tomorrow. We'll drag in today and let the rain do its thing tomorrow. Course opens at noon.
As we finish vertidraining the last fairway today, we are now beginning to slice all rough. Relieving compaction and allowing for better surface drainage. Members, this process will move faster than fairway vertidraining.
Starting in the dark. The long process of vertidraining all fairways. Complicated by lots of storm cleanup from the weekend. I'm lucky to have team members willing to put in the time and effort. Vertidraining continues for the next few weeks. Will help with surface drainage
Final fairway topdressing of the season. Feels great to get this one done during some sunny October weather. Vertidraining all fairways is up next starting in a coupleweeks.
