We are iGEM UGM 2025, representing Universitas Gadjah Mada in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition 2025, a global platform for innovation in synthetic biology.

As we take this significant step onto the global stage, we are seeking support to help us bring Indonesian innovation to the forefront. Your contribution will directly fund our research materials, laboratory operations, and accommodation during the competition.

This June, we are getting started on our fresh batch of plant chassis, started our synthesized DNA fragments assembly, and had a discussion with one of the co-founders of @SynBioID, kak Immanuel Sanka. Thank you so much for your time and insights!✨

Last week (12/5-18/5) we did some plasmid minipreps and had some discussion with our iGEM Mentor, Tannishta Roy from IISER Kolkata! We also worked on an educational project with our secondary PI, Dr. Widhi Dyah Sawitri. Thank you so much for your support!✨😃

This week (4/5-11/5) We did some transformation for plasmid assembly. We also went to Wonosari Village, a rural area in Yogyakarta to discuss Dengue Fever with the villagers and local volunteers and also went to downtown bustling Malioboro street on Sunday!💫💫

This week (21/4-27/4) we had two meetings with experts from the faculty of Agriculture and the faculty of Biology, we also joined a discussion on implementing the UN SDGs with other iGEM teams from all over the world, hosted by iGEM UNICAMP Brazil✨👥
