Don’t call me obtuse because you moved the starting line.
Musk was around $30B in January 2020. Biden was not president in January 2020.
By the time Biden took office, Forbes had Musk around $183…190B. By Trump’s second inauguration, he was around $400B+. Now he’s over $800B.
So yes, billionaires gained obscene wealth under Biden too…which I already said. The point is that under Trump’s “working-class populist” era, the richest man alive has nearly doubled an already obscene fortune in less than a year and a half.
That’s not tribalism. That’s the math you’re trying to dodge…while running away by blocking me. lol 🤡
Yes, wealthy people grow their wealth off the backs of working Americans under every presidency. That is part of the problem.
But the comparison here is still wild.
Musk went from roughly $190 billion near the start of Biden’s term to around $433 billion by Trump’s inauguration…about $243 billion over four years.
Since Trump came back into office, he’s gone from roughly $433 - 449 billion to over $800 billion, with a SpaceX IPO possibly pushing him toward $1 trillion.
So yes, billionaires got richer under Biden too. But under Trump’s “working-class populist” era, the richest man alive has nearly doubled his lifetime wealth in less than a year and a half.
That is not a defense of Biden. That is an indictment of an economy built to mint oligarchs while regular people fight over groceries and rent.
A school contractor doesn’t get every school.
Public construction money is usually spread across many companies, local contractors, workers, suppliers, and communities. That is not the same thing as billions in taxpayer-funded contracts, subsidies, tax credits, NASA money, Pentagon money, and Space Force money helping concentrate wealth and power around one billionaire’s empire.
The issue isn’t that government pays for work.
The issue is pretending Musk’s “self-made genius” mythology exists separate from massive public funding.
@Michael31558@EastEndJoe I understand authoritarianism just fine.
I also understand trolling, deflection, and bad-faith argument loops.
You’re not here to make a point. You’re here to throw buzzwords under a joke about a library and hope one of them sounds smart.
Michael, you didn’t make one argument to refute. You dumped Obama, Biden, vaccines, churches, businesses, and Antifa into a blender under a joke about a library.
That’s not a point. That’s a MAGA junk drawer.
And no, pointing out that you panic-posted every Fox News talking point since 2020 isn’t “shaming” you. It’s describing what you did.
Michael saw a joke about a library and immediately unloaded the MAGA panic sampler…Obama, Biden, vaccines, churches, businesses, Antifa, and apparently every talking point that’s been living rent-free since 2020.
Thank you for proving exactly how scary the library part was.😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤡
Connected to and about are two different things.
I never mentioned Trump. You did. I joked about Mar-a-Lago as a property, not Trump as a person.
You brought him into it with “TDS,” then acted shocked when I pointed out you were the one making it about him.
That’s not me zigzagging. That’s you tripping over your own talking point.
🥱 You’re boring, and it’s time to mute this circus. Please have the kind of life you wish on others. ✌️
@SLIPOMATIC@EastEndJoe Yes, Mar-a-Lago is connected to Trump. That was the joke.
What wasn’t the joke was you turning it into property seizure, fascism, Antifa panic, and then screaming “TDS” because your own meltdown needed a label.
Pick a lane. Either you understood the joke or you didn’t.
@SLIPOMATIC@EastEndJoe Trump wasn’t mentioned once, and somehow you still found a way to make this about him.
Calling that my TDS is adorable. You brought your own leash to the punchline.
@SLIPOMATIC@EastEndJoe Yes, I’m fluent in sarcasm.
You’re just not fluent in recovering after taking a joke literally, spiraling into property seizure, and then deciding a woman joking about books must be Antifa.
@SLIPOMATIC@EastEndJoe Lmfao you think I’m Antifa because I made a joke about a library?
You weren’t supposed to become the punchline twice, but here we are. 😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤡
@yuhrott@EastEndJoe Oh sweetie, you’re on the internet.
Your browser history is already being tracked, sold, analyzed, and algorithm-fed with every keystroke you make. But yes, clearly the scary part is the imaginary Obama library drone book.🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Three comments in a row because a joke about Mar-a-Lago becoming Antifa HQ with a lobby library broke containment in your head.
No, I didn’t say you personally mentioned the library. I said you replied to a joke that included one and then spiraled into property seizure, terrorism, and violence.
No, joking about an imaginary anti-authoritarian library is not advocating violence. You invented that part because you needed something dramatic to fight.
BTW, calling yourself Hillbilly Base while melting down like this is almost too on the nose. You are definitely living up to the username.
You not being able to read the room doesn’t change what a joke is.
You’re acting like I have the authority to repossess Mar-a-Lago and open an Antifa branch office with a Dewey Decimal system. I promise, I do not have that kind of power outside your bunker fantasy.
What do I have a problem with? You saw “opposing authoritarianism” and invented property seizure, terrorism, fear, and violence.
That’s not me changing what you said. That’s me noticing how hard you worked to become the joke.
You replied to a joke that included Antifa HQ and a lobby library.
You focused on the scary word, missed the punchline, invented a terrorist takeover, and now you’re mad because I pointed out the joke went over your bunker.
That’s not me lying. That’s you reading with high blood pressure.
@Zebra12991210@EastEndJoe You replied “try it numnuts” to an imaginary library, then asked why anyone would be scared of a library, and now you’re calling me deranged.
That’s not a comeback. That’s a self-own with timestamps.
@Kylel999@EastEndJoe A joke about a library made you fantasize about civil war and turning people into fertilizer.
That’s not patriotism, Kyle. That’s you volunteering as the live exhibit for why authoritarian rage goblins shouldn’t be left unsupervised near WiFi.
@NNAMissourDirec@EastEndJoe “What’s wrong with authoritarianism?” says the little rage goblin who immediately starts fantasizing about beating people into submission under a joke about a library.
Thank you for answering your own question better than I ever could.
