Before we got married, Melinda and I talked about how we would give back. We agreed that, once you’ve taken care of your family, the best use of extra wealth is to help make the world a better place. Join us in one of our favorite traditions https://t.co/tlrxu6FYjQ #GivingTuesday
While the great ones of the Earth build themselves ‘thrones’ for their own power, God chooses an uncomfortable throne, the cross, from which to reign by giving his life.
You don’t have to have everything figured out. When you’re honest with God about your doubts, your shortcomings, your fears, that’s not a weakness; that’s a strength.
Nobody can delude themselves by thinking, “I’m fine because I’m not doing anything wrong”. To be a follower of Jesus it is not enough not to do wrong, because there is good that we must do!
Do not follow Jesus only when you feel like it, rather, seek Him every day. Find in Him the God who loves you always, the meaning of your life and the strength to give of yourself.
"The Kingdom of God is in your midst." It is not spectacular. It grows in silence, in hiding, through witness, prayer, and the attraction of the Spirit. #SantaMarta
I would like to say to the young people: forgive us if often we have not listened to you, if, instead of opening our hearts, we have filled your ears. #Synod2018 https://t.co/wRMOaKeK1a
God whispers in your spirit dreams and promises: what you can become. The enemy will try to drown them out. He’ll use people to try to discourage you. No matter how loud they are, don’t let them talk you out of what God has whispered in your spirit.
The enemy wouldn’t be trying to stop you if he didn’t know something amazing was in your future. Watch Joel’s new message this morning on Podcast, "The Right Recording"! https://t.co/KwNtaNHhCw
