@karatademada π
The Copy/Paste movie industry crying they're being impacted
@karatademada Older crowd tends to be more pragmatic
Younger crowd more fearful
Resume is my point, as we're not trying to hire you.
I don't need a resume but you do because you identify by the work and not by the creativity that went into it.
And all those same tools you use, I use as well.
Here's mine (and only because that's what type of person you are)
Musician, Artist, Poet
Age of 10 - artwork winning competitions even versus adults.
Early adult - artwork appraised by galleries.
and 1 piece permanently mounted.
Auditioned and accepted in the Atlantic symphony Orchestra (percussionist)
Career:
College trained on creative Multimedia technologies.
35 Years using my creativity for both my passion and my profession.
Corporations
University (had one instructional course become required text for the university course it was supporting)
The Broadcast Industry
A Fast Food franchise (marketing artwork)
World's largest mining company (a decade producing artwork for their global in-house programs)
Federal Election televised debate (online artwork as well as branding the live stage elements)
=== all this creativity above, even before AI ===
Post COVID, created innovations for legacy Multimedia tools to incorporate legacy artwork in real time, without AI.
Am currently writing the business proposal for creatives of all types to have their NIL registered such that when deepfakes or artwork is stolen by some kid in his mom's basement etc there's a way to protect the artist.
Yup you guessed it, I'm still protecting creatives, not stealing from them.
All of your resume is great, except I don't post mine unless I am needing work.
And
i wouldn't post it here on a chat based social program.
And
I have my own company.
Fun Fact - Haven't posted a resume looking for work in 30+ years.
Your self entitlement and Hubris just cannot fathom the difference between a creative using tools, and someone who identifies by the work they've done.
P.s. While yer there judging me
My life resume:
I'm and father
Won a lottery,
Been dead once (they obviously fixed that)
Wined and dined with celebrities and music icons.
and
the part of this I am most proud of outside of being a dad . . on 3 separate occasions, i have saved a human life with my own hands being in the right place at the right time.
So, I must apologize as all of this does not fit in the Twitter Bio area.
@Rahll
It's really funny how you need to plaster your Bio with things you've done in your life to gain credibility in your own mind.
Those things you listed:
were jobs
using your creativity
and using tools and technology
That's it that's all. Period End of sentence !
I don't care if folks don't like or don't want AI.
But I laugh at folks like you coming in with your Hubris and Ego
I use my creativity for 2 things
my professional work
my passion
AI is a tool.
I don't need to identify with it, or identify that my life is without it.
Did your little tweet response get you what you wanted, because everything i've seen so far, suggests you are compensating for something and need
your Bio in order to be . . .
@seanward I don't identify by the tools I use
He doesn't identify as a director
I have identified him as a hypocrite
or
He's not a director, but merely an office staffer.
Creativity comes to us, it is not sold to us, or distributed to us.
folks often say "i have a writers block i haven't any ideas"
Fun Fact - there's a big spinning rock with millions of creatures, billions of people, and endless adventures
. . . but also many ideas simply come from close to home.
* Side note: has your kid started wearing the costume yet? :-)
@alexutopia roflmao
I used to have a glass mannequin head exactly like that. they make great holders for headphones.
and, I can neither confirm or deny if I caressed mine in the way shown in this music video. :-)
@c_valenzuelab
One of my discoveries, was that shadows and surrounding colors and layers make colors change their story as it gives the color contrast and a relative palette for the brain to work with.
The beauty of art, is that it is not just one item on the screen or canvas, but all of them.
This is actually aimed at the person in the post.
Fun Fact: there's ~8.5 Million peeps on the planet.
It's safe to say, not everyone will laugh at YOUR jokes, or enjoy YOUR stories, or even pay you any respect or credibility.
We thank you for your time in typing out your opinion.
As Framer said, we all started everything we do in life with the same process:
crawl
baby steps
walking
Running
The thing about comedy, is purely the audience.
I have placed my self all alone on a stage, with only a mic and a spot light. Bombed some, brought the house down on others, and even shared the stage with celeb comedians.
That didn't start right out of the womb, but it did start the moment I decided I was going to do that.
Here's another example: I also decided to start a social media account. In that process, i realized i needed to get better, and be better at it, i.e. not calling out toxic people, calling them stupid, or even responding to others. But what I found was, what they posted, was in fact "their opinion" and it doesn't make or break the situation, and in the end is only a few words of some rando online.
@Framer_X keep on keepin on
UBU as you understand !
@JoshDaws The problem is, you and I know what your intent is, however, there's some pretty lazy folks out there that will simply answer "everything"
@SamJWasserman @SamJWasserman
every day i see another tweet from you, and i know you're creeping ever closer to my vision. :-)
I haven't seen your editor yet, so won't cast judgement on the workflow, but from what i've seen, keep up the good work !!!
We (AI enthusiast's) really need to stop that.
Please ALL AI users, please stop making that claim
"This movie would have cost millions but . . . "
It may be true, but by repeatedly posting, tweeting, and including it in our conversations, we perpetuate the combative nature of the discourse.
Note: I'm aware the HAITers have their phrases as well, but we can be the bigger person and take the high road.
Right here, right now, this moment, anyone reading this can say "I'm not going to spend the rest of my days using AI, and fighting the whole time"
It'll be like being in a struggling marriage.
We both need each other (AI and artists)
So lets remove the fighting.
Wanna focus your combative energies, I have heard there's folks that place Pineapple on their pizza !
We can believe the cost benefits and time savings and artistic freedoms, but lets all refrain from verbalizing them and adding fuel to the fire.
Wanna shut up the HAITers, create great content.
Let the outputs negate the judgement of the tools.
@JoshDaws @Timcast
This clip is EXACTLY what is wrong right now.
People with no experience, no knowledge or training, barely touched a technology (or tool) and voice their opinion like they're supreme overlord.
Imagine this guy when he first got to drive a car.
"We couldn't go very fast, the car wanted to go in many different directions, I couldn't see except out the front windows, . . . "
Ignorance compiled with attitude is a lousy combination, and typically the fuel that drives the haters.
--/--
Assessment of the tool(s)
* incorrect
Assessment of the amount of work
* Typically generalized, guessed at, and not accurate or factual.
Assessment of the abilities of the tools
* When they hold up fingers to count, and each bullet item is wrong, just makes me laugh. π€£
Fun Fact - people like this will never be successful in any endevours in their lives.
I know this to be true, because I have a large sample size of this type of person over the years.
π¨ WARNING !!π¨
A message for all you creatives wanting CPP
You should never have to purchase anything unless the result was a guarantee that you'll get what was promised.
If someone (or a company) tells you to spend monies, then you do not get what was promised, that is called fraud.
Rather, you should simply need to post some work examples (any program)
@ tag the company,
# hashtag the company
and let the process go from there.
NEVER SPEND MONIES to get "possible" rewards
@higgsfield_ai @higgsfield @FBI
These shady offers are getting ridiculous.
I tagged the FBI so yer on their RADAR now.
No multi million dollar company should operate with less than impeccable business practices.
@JSFILMZ0412
Tis gonna be a busy few days for ya :-)
Multiple models, @invideoOfficial with Agent2 and 12 days of agent features
You should give a recent photo to local authorities so they can update the "missing" posters and milk carton.
π€£
Hope you didn't have anything planned :-)
