@5Solas The concept of true faith I think is a Protestant one. In Greek the word faith can refer to either a belief in something and relying upon that belief, hence the phrase "even the demons believe and shudder". But it can also mean trusting in a person, like faithfulness, i.e love.
@5Solas Unfortunately she said ignorant stuff. But like atheists, you focus on only the dumbest statements by the most ignorant and then pretend that's the truth...
@auroralegion312@xaunbe@ThinkingAtheist Your meme is exactly the point. Every single thing needs a source of its existence. S o unless you want to say something dumb like, there is an eternity of sources which kind of makes no sense... You say there must be a single starting source. It doesn't have to be some spaz guy.
@auroralegion312@ThinkingAtheist Because for something to be uncaused, it has to be the very source of all things. The uncaused causer is more like a scientific deduction that all things we see need a cause, so there must be some energy or essence which is not so much a thing as a source or starter nature.
@ThinkingAtheist This page is made just to make atheists look dumb right?? Like everyone knows nobody in the world has ever said anything like this about God right?
@5Solas So your view is that all the people of God whom the Holy Spirit leads into all truth whom Jesus sent for all Christians. These people who read the scriptures, appointed by the apostles to teach and to appoint others who were most upright and obedient to Christ. Just lied together
@PastorAwes Infant baptism. How original. Anyone who wants the answers can find them. Just go talk to an educated catholic and you'll see this guy is cherry picking things just as the atheists do for Christianity. Thanks for helping to make more converts! =)
@TTom13@farmingandJesus@bornagainrn@michaeljkruger@gavinortlund@drjohnmeade What's so absurd about your comments is that if an atheist made the exact same ones about Christianity and the mythicism of Jesus, and then quoted liberal Christian scholars and atheists, you'd laugh that dude out the room.
Yet here you are doing the equivalent on Catholicism.
@TTom13@farmingandJesus You read them... Yeah. Like how an atheists gets told which cherry picked sections to read by their big buddy atheist mates and mentors...
Do you read to understand what they teach or to react to things you don't understand like the atheist does?
