As a Christian who walks with Jesus, this is the truth. When you wholeheartedly accept Jesus as your Savior, a profound sense of peace descends upon your life. I have personally experienced this in my own life and observed it in others as well.

This is why we need a mediator and Savior, and that is what Jesus Christ fortunately is. He bridges the connection and allows us to be with God through having faith in Him. He serves as our mediator and connection to God's holiness

Why do men tremble in fear in the presence of something so holy and good like an angel. (Luke 1:12)

Zechariah was not the only human to feel like this in the Bible. Many other people trembled in fear being in the presence of an angel. Their holiness was so great that every person felt horrible being in their presence.

29 And people will come from east and west, and from north and south, and recline at table in the kingdom of God. 30 And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”
