Spent Thursday prepping the backyard for next spring. Got 2 beds lined out and composting, fire pit has an official placement, got the connect for raised bed materials and an herb spiral, and my neighbors are all super cool for allowing me to mess around like I have this year.
Plus friends that work for the city means I can get my hands on really nice trees. Magnolia going up front and plums/peaches in the back. Thinking about making a lilac shrub gate or a wisteria archway to pass into the backyard without going through the house.
@mydivinelife777 I've been seeing far too much "y'all really letting her do this?" like...yes? She's not tattooing ME blue against my will and tbh I think it would be cunty as hell to be blue all the time. And it's no different to me than someone with a body fully covered in flash/patchwork.
In my genrtal hatred for the movie adaptations of Stephen King novels I seem to have forgotten how good Desperation was. Or, at the very least, how good Ron Perlman was as Collie Entragian.
Mania bonus: lots of chores done around the house, necessities purchased, couple treats earned
Mania downside: no sleep no eat all wiggles, chorus to Steal My Sunshine running on loop
Carpeted and hung these all by myself and they are so sturdy for my dense meaty chilren. Very happy with the end result. All cats have tried it out, full approval given.
Adding a circle hammock once I can get it finished, thinking under the far left shelf.
Built 4 bookshelves today for my ever-growing library and it's so nice living in a home that embraces and encourages my hobbies, where I'm not only allowed but welcomed to take up space openly.
Back home after 3 days at the girlfriend's parents where they have a Jack&Jill bathroom tied to their bedroom, directly next to the kitchen/living room OR a basement bathroom with no solid door option...you know what I'm doing.
Fiber friends, are we blocking superwash merino/nylon blends? Is that going to truly do anything or does it only give definition until first wash?
