A new open-source edge AI system called π RuView is turning ordinary WiFi infrastructure into a through-wall human-sensing platform detecting body pose, vital signs, and movement patterns without a single camera, raising urgent security and surveillance concerns.

RuView's signal processing pipeline captures these disturbances at 54,000 frames per second using Rust, extracts amplitude and phase variations, and feeds them through a modified DensePose-RCNN deep learning architecture borrowed from computer vision.

Comet C/2025 R3 (PanSTARRS) is predicted to brighten dramatically in April 2026, with the possibility of becoming visible to the naked eye for observers under dark skies.

This icy traveler will reach perihelion — its closest point to the Sun — around April 19–20, 2026. As it swings around the Sun, solar heating will cause the comet to release gas and dust, creating the glowing coma and tail that make comets such spectacular sights.

Just days later, the comet will make its closest approach to Earth on April 26–27, 2026, passing at a distance of about 44 million miles (roughly 71 million kilometers). While that may sound far, in astronomical terms it’s close enough for the comet to potentially become a beautiful object in the sky.

🔭 When to watch:
The best viewing window is expected from April 17 to April 27, 2026, when the comet should be at its brightest and easiest to spot.

✨ How bright will it be?
Current estimates suggest the comet could reach a brightness between magnitude 8 and magnitude 2.5. At magnitude 8 it would require binoculars, but if it brightens toward magnitude 2.5, it could become visible to the naked eye from dark locations.

There is also the possibility of a forward-scattering effect, where sunlight shining through the comet’s dust tail makes it appear temporarily brighter — potentially creating an impressive glow in the sky.

🌍 Where will it be visible?

Comet C/2025 R3 (PanSTARRS) may be visible worldwide in April 2026, with the best views likely in the Southern Hemisphere. Observers in the United States of America and other northern regions might still spot it low on the horizon. ☄️

The Southern Hemisphere is expected to have the best views, especially after the comet passes closest to the Sun. Observers there may see it rising higher in darker skies.

⏰ Morning and evening views:
• Before perihelion: Look for it in the morning sky before sunrise.
• After perihelion: The comet may shift into the evening sky after sunset, making it easier for many observers to spot.

Dubbed a “one-click IP leak,” the vulnerability turns seemingly innocuous username links into potent tracking weapons. The issue hinges on Telegram’s automatic proxy validation mechanism.

When users encounter a disguised proxy link, often embedded behind a username (e.g., t[.]me/proxy?server=attacker-controlled), the app pings the proxy server before adding it.
