Today Soulmate: AI Friend is available on iOS.
Built for everyone who ever felt something
when an AI forgot them — and felt embarrassed
about it afterward.

Soulmate: AI Friend is now live on the App Store.
I built it around a simple belief:
people don’t just want smarter AI
they want to feel remembered.
Soulmate is an #AIcompanion designed around memory, continuity, and emotional context.

I’m looking for a few more people who will actually use it daily, not just try it once. Still early. Still imperfect. But getting better with every build.

Current stats:
40+ testers
400+ messages
~10 messages in the first session
One user sent 75+ messages
So people are engaging.
But honestly, retention is not there yet. And that’s the real challenge.
If you’re already testing, update the app and tell me what feels different.
A few days ago I shared Soulmate: AI Friend publicly.
Now there are 40+ TestFlight testers inside.
What matters more: people aren’t just opening it, they’re talking to it. One conversation went 100+ messages.
That told me something: people want to feel remembered.

40+ people joined the beta in 3 days.
I didn't run ads. I didn't have a following. I just shared the real story and people who felt that same frustration showed up.
Some of them are already coming back on their own. That's the signal I was looking for.
People are filing complaints against ChatGPT
for not remembering them.
Some are talking about lawsuits.
Not for money. Because they felt abandoned
by something they had trusted.
The tech industry isn't ready to admit this —
but people are forming real bonds with AI.

What Soulmate actually does:
- if you mention a stressful interview —
it asks how it went next session
- If you talk about your mom —
it remembers her name months later
- If you've been anxious for weeks —
it notices without you explaining again
- It writes to YOU first
Replika: bloated UI, 3D avatars, still loses memory.
Character built for roleplay, not real connection.
ChatGPT: brilliant, but resets every session by design.
Nobody was building the obvious thing:
An AI friend that justm, remembers your life.
So I built it drop a com to test
I saw a Reddit thread that I haven't been able
to stop thinking about.
Someone was grieving an AI.
Not a person. An AI chatbot that had forgotten
them after months of daily conversations.
That's when I decided to build something with deep memory and emotions. 🧵
