Cooking exercises for an upcoming mobile app! Eye strain is something we often overlook until we realize we can’t see without glasses… This app will definitely have at least one user, and it’s going to be me! 😅
Any beginner musicians here? How are you practicing rhythm?
I’m currently testing an app I really wish I had when I first started learning guitar. I still have a few spots open for a closed test on Android and iOS.
It seems to be easier to find 1 client in B2B, rather than 10 clients in B2C to get the same money. What are the key things you focus on when targeting B2B segment?
Exploring B2B segment with Baselines Mobile Foundation. Fully revamped the product to target startups, studios and product teams instead of individual devs. It is still tough, but at least I have a clear difference compared to existing mobile boilerplates and starter kits and it is way easier to make decisions on what features to focus next.
Small changes are not usually that small as you initially think… Updating SaaS to support subscription model instead of 1 time purchase. Easy? Now I need to implement sign-in, profile page with subscription management, make sure user data is handled securely, updated ToS and privacy policy, finally implement the updated purchase flow. At least now I have AI to help me 😂
A short follow up on my last take regarding standard KMP template (https://t.co/HvxYY7iVRE)
While AGP 9.0 and new structure support is still somewhere on the go for the standard template, it is already supported and working in my open source mobile foundation https://t.co/fu7uF0A6bJ
Trying something different today and it did the trick to get more visibility. Published materials on existing problems in my domain, how it can be solved and only then casually mentioned promo of how my product solves it. Now it is the most viewed post I've got ever!
Default launch screens on Android/iOS apps are boring and broken. If you are an app developer, make it elegant by showing splash screens and do the heavy loading/initialization work on background. Today making my clients happy, by making it work out of the box in Baselines!
Can’t wait to get this new landing live… Making a new chapter for the project I’m building by moving its focus to a B2B sector to help startups and studios start with a solid mobile foundation.
Revamping one of my landings and found myself struggling to find a balance between nice looking UI, utilitarity, simplicity… how do you find the sweet spot where to keep the page attractive and where technical/descriptive?
@mdnlabs 1. Design goes first
2. Implementing communication contract between front and back
3. Then backend with mock data
4. Then all the frontend work + migrating backend mocks to real things
Refocusing my mobile starter kit to target a different audience. So need to revamp the landing and this time I’m trying my best to not make it basic. Need a counter section with the SOLUTION. Any creative ideas how it could look like?
