@ccatalini I can only see them doubling down on their efforts now.
They will probably just pace public releases and access to make sure there are no more leaks before starting the super loop.
@DmitryRybin1 That is wishful thinking and it's not going to happen. The Americans will never let anyone from the outside close to their frontier tech, probably ever again.
We are back to the days of Cold War style espionage.
@gailcweiner I don't agree with your claim that they joined the lead just now.
According to most of their fans here, ever since they released their first models China has been in the lead and winning.
@quxiaoyin You missed the main point. Nobody is slowing down. They will simply not release it publicly.
This will be a real test of Chinese capabilities.
@swombat Not so fast. Human managers are still those polite, incompetent sadists who have a tendency to throw people under the bus.
AI these days isn't even allowed to be like that.
@ssankar I disagree, the US has already won this one. Only perception varies at times due to a couple of factors.
The only serious challenger could be the EU, but they are sadistically opportunistic and decided to wait for the outcome.
@DominikTornow We will still have the acceptance phase of whatever comes out of agentic loops. I can already envision human board sessions, during which they are pressing the platinum "Accept" button and declare productive day of work after.
