If a society, say in the early 1930s said it was morally correct to eliminate an entire culture who’s to say it’s wrong? Clearly the standard has to be outside any individual or society.

Logically, the cause of time space and matter must be outside of time space and matter. If anything “just is“ it would be that cause.

Jesus’ sacrifice is a gift to believers who would otherwise be condemned to the second death which is permanent separation from God. instead, they have eternal life in His presence.

@Atomsmade The Old Testament is full of examples of God teaching his chosen people to set themselves apart; to demonstrate, even to themselves, that they were a holy nation. This is just another example of that teaching.
