Dear @PepsiUganda
Volleyball has no volleyball sponsor. And the playoffs are next weekend. 🙂😒 We promise to drink all the drinks you have and the company makes new brands
This is why I opted for ESB Chairman’s(@ESBChairmans)to be our beverage sponsor. A growing beer brand under Nile breweries company ltd.
1.Brand visibility. Sports events can reach a large and engaged audience, increasing brand awareness and visibility for the beer company. And being that most of the people in the volleyball fraternity are young, this could be a positive for us.
2.Demographic alignment. Sports fans and beer drinkers often overlap, making sports a targeted platform for beer companies to reach their desired audience. This helps both parties since we get what we want and they get what they want.
3. Social responsibility. Some beer companies emphasize responsible drinking and partner with sports organizations to promote safe drinking practices. Which can also help with the growing cases of addiction in the fraternity.
4. Tradition and culture. Beer has a long history in many sports, such as soccer, rugby, and baseball, making it a natural fit for sponsorship. This means it can favor volleyball.
5. Financial gain. Beer companies often have large marketing budgets, providing significant financial support to sports teams or events.
In return, the sport benefits from the financial support, which can be used to improve facilities, provide equipment, and player development. Among other aspects

People are often quick to accuse without considering other possibilities.
Instead of rushing to label it as a boycott, why not ask if there was a technical issue, staffing challenge, or even mechanical setback?
Appreciation should come just as swiftly as criticism you guys.
