A lot of people who have problems with their gut don't know it.
They have symptoms like acne, low energy, dry skin and brain fog but don't associate them with gut health.
Here's 5 common symptoms of poor gut health that get mistaken for something else.
THREAD 🧵
Feeling tired? TAKE SALT

You get the message…
DON’T FEAR SALT!
A question I get asked often when it comes to type 2 diabetes: “what about fruit?”
My answer is always: what does it do to your blood sugar level when you eat it?
Most fruits end up being terrible for T2D. I’ve seen spikes from bananas and grapes that rival rice and pasta.
A 12 oz (355 ml) can of coke contains 39 g or 9.75 tsp of sugar.
That’s terribly unhealthy, right? Imagine diluting 9.75 tsp of sugar in a glass of water and drinking it.
Now take a “healthy” 12 oz glass of fresh orange juice. It contains 31 g or 7.75 tsp of sugar!
Did you know that some foods that appear or that are marketed as “healthy” aren’t quite what they seem.
Examples:
Fruit Smoothies
Granola Bars
Agave Syrup
Nut Butters with Sugar
Salad Dressings
Juices
Sweetened Yogurts
Whole Wheat Bread w/Sugar
Diet Drinks
Sweetened Nut Milks
