I work in the industry that produces live events and see no reason closures for the Arts Fest should last as long as they do.

The closures affect Walker &the streets that go on either side of City Hall and @okcciviccenter. The Civic Center hosts many cultural events & they pride themselves on being accessible to patrons with disabilities, so the City is cutting off their ability to host many patrons

@minnieolim I hope to one day get to a point in my reading journey where I can focus on reading classics. I still read so infrequently that I'm not quite ready yet but it's been on my list for awhile.

@minnieolim Plenty of films have been modern or retelling adaptations of classic stories and generally they are called something else! (10 things I hate about you, She's the Man, etcetcetc).

@minnieolim People are trying to compare it to the 90s Leo Romeo + Juliet. But my biggest issue is (still not seeing WH movie) is they set the entire thing forward but kept the script exactly the same. This mix and matching of original story with original setting and modern costumes is weird
