The return on capital employed for both Jio and Airtel is above 14%, which is extraordinary for companies of their size.

The protests are being reframed from being about education, the NTA, the NEP, privatisation and state accountability into something allegedly driven by people who are “anti-Hindu” or “anti-PM.”

Classic propaganda move: change the subject. It’s saying that good citizens must support students without challenging state power — it’s nonsense. It makes no sense. And it is exactly what’s called controlled opposition. Something that gets absorbed and co-opted by the state.

It basically paints the government as an institution that is not responsible for the crisis which claimed student lives. Instead, it makes Modi a victim that deserves empathy. Wow.
