@Poplop24Max @JomboyMedia@TalkinYanks@SamMcDowell11@marioagomez_1 That's a bit harsh man. Witt Jr had the GW RBI in both games of the Baltimore series and had a tough NY series. He had more Ks than usual. Most were on questionable calls to be kind, by the home plate umps. Bad both ways. And scalded a few balls right at players. Had 2 hits tho
@MLBNetwork@MLB@EliasSports And a nice f'ing 3rd strike call on Witt in the 9th inning. 3 inches below the knees and the umpires is like yeah it was a strike when Witt disagreed with him. Nice job, you blind f@$k!!!!! What a way to tarnish a really good game. These umpires should be ashamed! Brutal!!
@MLBNetwork@MLB@EliasSports All the announcers on the broadcast say Chisolm is clearly out because if a bad slide 6 inches short. Massey drops the tag on him for a clear overturn and the remote command center umpires all say he is safe. WTF is going on here MLB? Way to mess up a really good game! Damn!
@CBREZZY44@on3@cllctMedia It's based on last 10 year AP poll finishes. Iowa 1 of only 3 teams to win 8 games or more the last 9 years. They have been solid & consistent. Why their avg AP poll finish is at 17. Not flashy but they had 3 10 win seasons the last 10 years, including a 12 win season in 2015
@Zhawk44 Could be 28. I work with one of Fran's best friends and he told me yesterday the number was $20 million. I thought it was only gonna be $10 million, so that is pretty good.
@HawkDad1 was pretty cool worshipping at church this morning and none other than @StuelkeHannah comes in with a friend and sits down right next to me across the aisle
@jasonschulz34@ChadLeistikow Iowa wonโt play that way again. They will know better how to attack it on Saturday against Colorado. Starts with laying some hard screens and cuts to the basket. Use Coloradoโs aggression against them. Also, I highly doubt Iowa will only make 5 three pointers against them.
@johnstonbabies@HeatherRadio And about 1/3 of them get called. Their brand of basketball is super aggressive, in your face, knock you off your spot defense. They should literally be called for a foul every play. It was a grind out game and Iowa had 30 less possessions than normal because of WVU game plan.
@jaydee602@firegeno WVU fouled on every play and got called about a third of the time. They muddied everything up and Iowa typically takes it to the hole and makes more free throws than their opponents take. WVU's strategy worked because Iowa had 30 less possessions in the game than they average.
@mjford17 @DonJuniorMusic If the refs called the game right, Iowa would have gotten in rhythm and won by 30. And shot even more free throws. The amount of times WVU got away with hand checks, arm bars, over the back and contact in general was mind boggling. It was a slugfest. Props for playing tough tho.
@DonJuniorMusic @abdavis @twrdhome That is an idiotic take. Come on man, you are better than that. Enjoy the great UCONN win tonight and look forward to your 30th straight Sweet Sixteen. That is amazing man!
@DonJuniorMusic @kenswift If you watched the whole game, you would see how much holding/fouling WVU got away with. That is a tough team, but the whole team should have fouled out; not just 3. UCONN with the gritty win against a great Syracuse team tonight. Paige was unbelievable. Survive and advance.
@HawkDad1 Just got back to breathing normally. That WVU team was scrappy and super physical. Hannah hit some big free throws tonight and had 4 huge blocks. Gritty performance by the Lady Hawks. I hope Hannah is OK after that takedown in the 4th. She is gonna need an icebath. Love her!!!!
@ChadLeistikow It was a bad call. The Holy Cross defender slid over and was still moving after Caitlin left her feet. Just an awful call and it really wasn't close. The announcers agreed.
