Listening to the awesome @ellenfored — a true conservative fighter & the SC Superintendent of Education
She’s talking about the Palmetto Civics project she’s spearheading….after reciting from “In Flanders Fields” #America250
Where Mettle Meets Medal!🎖️
Supt. Weaver marked Medal of Honor Day aboard the USS Yorktown with Lucy Beckham HS JROTC—SC’s only Coast Guard unit. ⚓️
Honoring sacrifice and inspiring the next generation. 🇺🇸

The story of the #MedalOfHonor is an American story of courage, selfless service, commitment to duty, and love of country.
It's a story that must be told to this and future generations.

The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) killed more than 1,000 Americans over the past 47 years. Yesterday, a large-scale U.S. strike cut off the head of the snake. America has the most powerful military on earth, and the IRGC no longer has a headquarters.
@JoelWebbon Dude, God made clear His plan in the Bible to come and be the sacrifice for our sins to put us back in right relationship with Him. Twisting the death of Christ into some kind of “us versus them” dynamic is totally bizarre and not at all Biblical.
The U.S. launched targeted strikes at the terrorist supporting Iranian dictatorship, and the terrorist supporting Iranian dictatorship reacted by lobbing rockets with dubious accuracy into half a dozen neighboring countries. Just imagine if we sat around and let them get nukes.
A nuclear-weapons program. Thousands of missiles. State sponsorship of terror. Iran has waged war against the U.S. for 47 years: the hostage crisis, the Beirut Marine barracks, Khobar Towers, roadside bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan that killed or maimed thousands of American soldiers, the attempted assassination of President Trump. The butcher’s bill has finally come due for the ayatollahs. May God bless and protect our troops on this vital mission of vengeance, and justice, and safety.
When states lead, students win.
South Carolina Governor @HenryMcMaster’s proposal to double the size of the state’s school choice program to 20,000 students is a bold step in the right direction.
I urge state lawmakers to support the Governor and help thousands of SC families.
@BillMelugin_@brithume@FoxNews Interrupting is talking out of turn. What happened here was a mob trespassing, shouting down a pastor, halting a worship service, and intimidating the worshipers. And Walz couldn’t even give a direct quote? He had his spokesperson attribute a feeling in the 3rd person?! Unserious
Another day, another state on my Returning Education to the States Tour!
At the Meyer Center in South Carolina, their focus on meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities exemplifies the value of education shaped at the local level.
We are the legacy of amazing American patriots, who bled and fought for our freedom right here on the soil of South Carolina, winning the American Revolution and setting us on a trajectory of freedom and continuous improvement.
Read more in this incredible OpEd from our friend and fellow South Carolinian @VanHipp. And don't forget to celebrate America's 250th birthday in 2026!🇺🇸

@charlescwcooke@joni_askola Met a Brit traveling for tech work to Austin. He was sincerely offended by my questions related to the loss of speech rights. Sincerely deluded. It was actually quite sad, and I was disappointed. Raising the question generated a deep anger on his part defending the restrictions.
@NathanBallentin That money would slip right through an 18 year old’s fingers. Such mixed feeling about NIL. Sounds like a kid with character. Go Silver Foxes and go Gamecocks!
Europe is an ally, but we notice the general disdain many of you have for us. We also notice your extraordinarily generous social safety net, weak overall defense investment, lack of free market principles, and the attendant long term downward trend. Get in shape so you’re a partner not a dependent.
@wademiller 1. NIMBY opposition to “tract” housing.
2. Cost of compliance with ever increasing building codes/environmental regulation.
3. Super low interest rates followed by too high interest rates prevent people in starter homes from moving up.
@charlesmurray It’s all about expectations AND interest rates. First home we purchased was a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1300 sq ft. Sold it in 2010 for 115,000. It would now probably sell for 205K to 230K in that market which should be affordable on a 60k to 75k salary today depending on interest rate
