@remasidney@baumusc@elonmusk Lots of public info out there, yes. DEI often results in bad policy and fund management. DEI is the worst thing to happen to women and POC in a while - now we will always be viewed as a diversity hire - even if we are highly qualified.
@Neliozu@JMjustcomedy@Barbaneth@gardengirl125 Oh you’re right and I don’t think the prices should be so out of reach for anyone. But I work in a profession where I see first hand where people get more sick when their choices are accommodated. I see both sides ig
@ArtCandee@elonmusk Bro that was downed powerlines- nothing predictable. And more like a 100 buildings burned and 2-3 people died- not thousands like CA and hundreds of lives. How could you dare to compare what’s happening in CA? No compassion.
@tfninetyeight @ClintonReedy @gardengirl125 That’s not the issue at hand. But where does government draw the line in mandating what a private business charged? Why not help fund new non profits that could produce the pharmaceuticals at reasonable cost?
@Bloody_Lillith@JMjustcomedy@Barbaneth@gardengirl125 Mostly lifestyle + habits. I think they should have insulin tho, but I don’t think tax payers should cover any. And mandates on private business regarding cost, is very sticky business.
@tfninetyeight @ClintonReedy @gardengirl125 Ohhhhh they made it look like the republicans repealed a specific item. What a joke. It was the whole bill that is filled with pork. Dang you all are manipulative.
@yorkshire_kk@Barbaneth@gardengirl125 Yes and it’s 95/5 percent. Can we agree that the mass majority need a lifestyle change not a discount? And the other 5 we can recategorize and make it affordable?
@Barbaneth@gardengirl125 CDC says around 95% of people with diabetes have type 2, while only 5% have type 1. Making type 2 diabetes significantly more prevalent than type 1 . Can we just cap for type 1, and the rest have to work on lifestyle changes to be eligible? Compromise?
